    Default No internetz for u!

So, today was a pretty wild day at work. My company (being a fortune 50 company) has an unsecured public wireless connection for visitors and non-company personnel. As personal laptops are freely permitted at the workplace, lets just say it's not just visitors using it. Well, come to find out, the OC3 feeding this connection has recently been bursting... bigtime. The bill for last month ended up being $30k over normal... and 60% of the usage has been non-work related.

Needless to say, management is not happy, and it's being cut off faster than a 6 year old at a vodka festival. How does this effect me? Not as much as one would think. Got my tethering active on my cell phone plan, and had the drivers installed and usb connected in a jiffy. I must say, I'm impressed with how well the cellular network has improved since the last time I used it 8 months ago. I'm now getting over 200k speeds, with 13kbps downloads. Can't disconnect me!

Maybe it was a *hint* from your employer that you actually need to get back to work?
Lol, it's actually usually my boss that comes over to my cube with the old "Dude, go to this site, it's hilarious"
