My setup (4 comps, 6 displays) + a little about me

Meh, im bored. i stumbled upon this place while searching for something on google images. Figured i'd post a little about myself.

First of all, heres my setup.



Don't be mean about my CRTs, there higher quality and faster than most LCDs, and cost ... nothing
Sorry for the quality of the pic, webcam isn't all that great for taking pics lol.

Anyways, onto a little about my stuff.

MAINPC (Bottom right 2 screens):
I use this for my Main task, which might be gaming, programming, watching a movie, etc.
Specs are:
2x 17 inch displays, Left = 1400x1050 Right = 1280x1024, the left can do 1600x1400 but the writing is annoyingly small at that res, i do use 1600x1400 for gaming. though.
P4 3.0Ghz dual core.
2GB ram, its broken, i get a bsod every now and again.
2x 230gb 7200 RPM Sata raid0 hard drives, and an 80gb 5200rpm ide.
ATI Radeon X1600 graphics (256mb)

Laptop:
I use this for all communications, MSN, ICQ, Skype, Yahoo, IRC, XFire, Google Talkand email.
Specs are:
1400x1050 display (14 inch)
Mobile Pentium 2ghz
1GB ram
60gb hard drive

BOT (the 15 inch screen on the far left):
This is my bot, it watches my server. Displays events on the screen so i can keep an eye on things. Its very old. But it does the job.
Specs:
1024x768 display
P2 233Mhz
196mb ram
10gb hard drive

FFTV (Firefox and TV):
I use this for browsing, and watching TV\movies.
Specs:
2x 1200x1024 displays. (17 inch)
P3 500Mhz
128mb ram
10gb hard drive

I know most of my kits old, but im poor most of my stuff is made from junk parts/gifts. so i don't think im doing so bad really. On the bright side i do have a G15, with the G Keys hooked up with synergy to bounce between the computers. Also you might notice i use a trackball, i prefer these to mice due to increased accuracy.

In hope to upgrade it a little once i start making some money. I don't play WoW either (i used too, but i just found it a little uneventfull.)

Also, all my PCs have FTP Servers on them to share info around (there all locked down to local ips, plus the ports are closed on my router.)

I don't hate I just worry about the long term effects of staring down the barrel of 5+ cathode ray "guns".

I used to do the same, being I could pick up CRT monitors for $20 each, sometimes less. I once had an array of 8 or so of them. It just became... impractical and I worried about the health effects.

nice setup shadow its good to see what you made with little to no buying .

i personally couldnt sit infront of crt's prob cause the one i used to have at my work made my eyes all buggy , to the point i brought a old TFT from home so i can see what i was actually doing.
