I have always thought that the Horde has had an advantage when it comes to pvp. Stomp, WIll of the forshaken, etc .... Seems to all be more of a pvp advantage than a pve advantage.

I let me give more data. I like to pvp not wait in ques. I started out alliance have 12 toons on alliance side 60-64. One I pvped to GM (Hunter, dwarf) Ironwolf. while i was in ques working on Ironwolf pvp rank. I setup a new account and started a Horde Orc hunter Zessa. I loved the que times and was able to lvl this toon and pvp while waiting on ques on allaince side ( old pvp system about 2 years ago). I played with many of the same people that I loved to kill from the Horde side. Horde did not have enough guild members for pve raid progression , so pvp was one way for a pugger to get gear. It just seemed like a better fit for pvpers. this is a normal server on pvp. I then started to 5 box and made new chars on pvp server. The server worked out to me 60 percent horde and 40 percent allaince. Horde owned it . that was not as fun for me. but many many teams would come after me to gank me. 4 locks and shadow priest make a just a little hard. Alliance are just tooo carebearie for me now. I just like horde Orc, troll, undead, cows, ( eeeer Bf)

8| I'm curious what server that is because that's so far from my, and that of some other people I know in our battle group that I am surprised to see that written and wonder how that is possible given the current state of horde dominance in our battle group.

In my experience, most of the PVP bandwaggoners go horde for easy mode. I see it all the time, these ali get fed up with loosing in our battle groups bgs and re-roll horde so they can steamroll the same ali they used to play with in the bgs and get easy marks and then brag and boast about how all the great pvp'rs go horde. ...the same ones that were loosing as ali before... lol. I'm sure these are the people who were wearing NE Patriots jerseys watching the game at home Sunday who were then wearing NY Giants jerseys on Monday

I always enjoy it when I have a good group of ali pvp'rs together in the bgs and we start to win and you see the horde give up and let us win. It just shows me its the same players in a different faction now. I'm happy they went horde. I'm sure they bicker, bitch, moan and complain in chat there when they start loosing just like they did when they were on ali side...

Tbh, the best pvp'er currently still playing, imo, is still Swifty, an alliance warrior. EDIT: he's a nelf, btw :P

He's one of few players I've seen who can pewpew good opponents even off-specced (pre-TBC aswell as in TBC). "Why's this so darn wonderfull? Fury still does epic dps". If this is what you be thinking, then I challenge you to roll a warrior, spec fury and attempt to hold up Rampage continiously now that resillience have been added to the bucket, aswell as the complete abscense of standstill-targets in pvp.

I even dare say Swifty outskills both Vurtne and Drakedog, mostly due to his extensive knowledge of his class and insanely logic chain of though.

So yes, I do, most sincierly, support the thought of "it all comes down to the player". Heck, the best pvper I know is a human mage, sadly he just quit playing and won't be returning 'till wotlc.
