Keyclone - Trojan Horse/coincidence?

I have been visiting this site for awhile and decided to give boxing a try.

I got my new accts (going to tri-box - main on 1 comp, other 2 on 2nd comp), downloaded keyclone, paid the $10 for the license (for the 2nd comp only) and got everything running. Everything was fine until the next day when my computer started to pop virus warnings / spyware alerts / etc. The virus / worm will open websites and run the media player if I leave the computer connected to the internet. It also hides the taskbar and prevents these programs from closing without shutting down the computer (I can restart the computer and it will run normally as long as it is not connected to the internet). Even after running the virus checks / adaware / etc. and cleaning everything the software could find, I am still finding new stuff on my comp.

I assume this is just a coincidence, but thought I would check and see if anyone had this happen to them.

And before anyone asks, my virus software and firewall are up-to-date. I run routine spyware and virus checks to make sure the computer is clean. I had previously and now again, changed my router password.

Due you to only having 1 post, I am tempted to feel this is a troll.
Regardless, there is no malicious activity that comes with Keyclone, it has been tested and used by thousands now with nothing to note of problems such as this.

Thanks Ellay. I wasn' trying to create an issue - just wanted to know if anyone else had anything like this happen before. Must have been a coincidence.

I hope this post doesn't get deleted - I had searched the forums to see if there had been any discussion previously about keyclone / viruses / etc. and found nothing. I think it will be good to have a post that shows people really have not had any issues with keyclone for those suspicious of downloading software.

might i suggest you download the software from either the links on dual-boxing.com or directly from solidice.com

getting it from anywhere else is just asking for problems... and indicative of your symptoms

Not to cause undue panic, but it still IS closed source. So you can't be 100% sure.

It does have a high level of trust among most of the community though.

Rob would be opening the door to amazing amounts of fraud lawsuits if he were to throw in something like that... not to mention ruining a perfectly good reputation.

No issues on any of my 3 boxes running Keyclone. Never a single problem with them and spyware.

I followed the link to the solidice.com site from this site (directly from one of keyclone's signature links) and downloaded the software right from there.
