I don't like that on offense the team starts divided, but Path of Frost makes regrouping them fairly easy.
On offense, I pretty much move towards one of the two gates.
Whichever one the Demolishers are going for.
The Pally will tab target, to find a hostile.
And the DK's will spam the HB/NS/FS/BS dps sequence, as that is AoE and most likely to get the most defenders.
I have the Pally Cleanse the Demolishers.
Usually many of the horde who were going for Demo's will stop and engage me.
If they do, I engage them too, which means my Demo's move out of range.
I'd like to follow them for support, but without pvping my team doesn't last too long.
Almost always some of the team has died, but not all of it.
I try to move to one of the graveyards to help take it.
I try to not release immediately, as toons who rez but don't immediately do things tend to get reported as innactive.
While toons who don't release are not reported AFK nearly as often.
On defense, the team all starts together which is nice.
I try to run to the docks, whichever side has fewer defenders.
I can take out one of the two Demo's that spawns shortly after the horde get into it.
I then focus on the second Demo, ignoring the horde that support it.
The snaring nature of Howling Blast lets me take it out before it reaches either gate.
Unfortunately, some of my team have invariably died at this point... as the Pally is not a very mobile healer.
If I stop and heal, the DK's chase the opposing Demo and move out of range.
If I move to stay in healing range, well I cannot heal while moving.
I figure taking out the Demo's is more important than anything else.
I find rezzing in this BG to be a pain in the ass.
Stopping to rez the fallen with the Pally... takes a bit of time.
That's not an issue really in AV, but SotA is a race.
If I release, then the team is split up, which sucks.
And the range is such that IWT does not have the team regroup to kill things.
I'm having them get stuck on things, like the edges of the cliff outside of a gate.
I could ignore the Demo's and concentrate on opposition players not in vehicles.
The team can usually take twice their number in AV, without much issue; don't think SotA would be any different.
Not sure if that is the best approach as far as winning the BG.
Losing the BG is faster honor on SotA weekend, than winning 1/3rd of AV's (which is what I do as Alliance).
