It's Windows/keyboard related, as I had the exact same thing happen a week ago. I checked my keyboard settings(Logitech Setpoint) and there was indeed a search function bound to the F3 button. Disbind it in whatever program you use for your keyboard and you should be ok.

Don't know how to fix it with different keyboards though.
