Windows Search opens when i press F3

heya

i run 2 windowed instances of WoW on my pc, using Keyclone.
whenever i press F3, th inbuilt windows search pops up.
this only happens while keyclone is running.
other keys like F1 etc work without any flaws....its just the F3 button that drives me crazy.

any suggestions ?

Hi emgee and welcome to the forums!

check your keyclone list... odds are you have more then the 2 wows you want.
go to keyclone/setup/general and UNCHECK the auto-add... or CHECK the exact windows titled

what is probably happening is that keyclone is finding a window, probably windows explorer, with 'world of warcraft' in the titlebar... and automatically adds it to the keyclone list.

these days, i recommend dropping the auto-add and using commands to start your wows (along with maximizer)

It's Windows/keyboard related, as I had the exact same thing happen a week ago. I checked my keyboard settings(Logitech Setpoint) and there was indeed a search function bound to the F3 button. Disbind it in whatever program you use for your keyboard and you should be ok.

Don't know how to fix it with different keyboards though.

there was indeed some kind of invisible entry in the list.
i noticed because there was a space between my 2 WoW instances....i rmeoved the blank line and its working now
