I don't see macros and such.
But there's an active boxer doing Hunters.

I've been soloing my hunter for the past couple months now, but have come up with some good rotations with him for BM and Surv. Grab pets with good special debuffs with low cooldown timers on them like the fox, bear, and worm. These will be my three main pets when I resume my dps squad cause the duration on them last longer than the cooldowns, so it's pretty much up on mobs all the time. The following is a straight copy of my macro-cache file from my WoW WTF folder. They can be used for anything you like, so take from it what you want. My main spam button for single target is the one on top that I use on a number of my toons for /click macros.

/click spam macro on E button:

My button layout for Survival /clicks:

    Single targets:

    6 - /petattack
    /castsequence Cobra Shot,Cobra Shot,Cobra Shot
    /petautocastoff [group] Growl
    /petautocaston [nogroup] Growl

7 - Explosive Shot spell, no macro for this

8 - Kill Shot spell, no macro

    Surv mob spam button:

    On my 1 button:

    /petattack
/castsequence reset=5/combat Serpent Sting, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot,Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot, Cobra Shot,
    /cast Multi-Shot
    /click BT4Button8

BT4Button9 usually has my cooldowns on it, but I recently swapped that to another button to just mouseclick

Black Arrow spell is on button 3 to apply when needed, and 2 has the /cast [@mouseover] Kill Shot macro. Q is the Misdirection macro, glyphing this is highly recommended. I don't even set the tank to my focus anymore and constantly keep this on my pets when soloing. They never draw enough aggro to have the boss/mobs come after me cause they're always on top of the tank, so his/her damage draws it back onto him/her. In the unlikely chance I do pull too much, there's always the Feign Death I can cast.

The Mend Pet macro can help you manage the time on it a little better, does me once in a while, but I also run Healbot on my hunter for this instead now.

Once your hunters reach 70+, grab 2 pieces for of the Tier 5 set to get the set bonus for it. It grants you the ability to heal your bet for 15% of the damage YOU do, not your pet. Survival is ideal, unless MM is now putting out more damage, to wear this set for. Surv spec, more damage is done by you than your pet, BM, it's the pet vs you, and MM is in between the two. For the set pieces, I'd highly suggest the chest and shoulders since they have the most gem slots. You can put the highest craftable gems from LK in these, not Cata cause of the iLvl restrictions. I've seen people soloing in Cata zones in this gear farming mobs. The Mend Pet spell is better now than before, but can't hold a candle to this set bonus healing.

I haven't played MM since 3.5, so I don't know how they are now, maybe someone else can post on that. I do know that all three specs way down the tier offer buffs to your raid/party, so one of each is viable. I ran 1 MM and 2 BM back then, Surv wasn't that great then for pve and I liked the exotic pets they could use. Next time, I'll run one of each for the buffs.

http://wow-petopia.com/ has some real good info on what pets to use for each group mockup, and Pick a Pet, and Raid Checklist, both from Curse.com are some handy addons to use also to know what buffs you're missin from the group/raid.

Sorry about that, I knew I was forgetting something there. Took me a while to write all that up. My BM setup is the same with the exception of the Cobra Shot macros are swapped with Steady Shot macros instead.

    button 1:

    /petautocastoff [group] Growl
    /petautocaston [nogroup] Growl
/castsequence reset=combat Steady Shot, Steady Shot
    /cast Multi-Shot
    /click BT4Button9

    BT4Button9 is Kill Shot spell

E button is dps spam /click macro listed above

5 button is empty on this one

6 is HM, SS, null macro

    7 is #showtooltips
    /castsequence reset=combat Arcane Shot,Kill Command,Steady Shot,Arcane Shot,Steady Shot,Kill Command,Steady Shot,Arcane Shot,Steady Shot,Focus Fire,Kill Command,Steady Shot,Steady Shot,Steady Shot
    /cast Kill Shot

8 was my buff macro, haven't changed/played BM in a while since I swapped to Surv.

Need to rearrange a few things, but rotation setup is pretty much the same for each. Just use Steady Shot for BM, Cobra Shot, once it's learned over SS, This way you'll keep your Serpent Sting up at all times. But with this macro, I used this before learning CS, providing haste was high enough, would refresh Serpent Sting right as it hits it's last tick, or right after. Not much down time on it. Might could be changed a little to suit your style.

Brummly on Earthen Ring is my main hunter. You can check out my specs on there too if you'd like.

I believe BT is the addon Bartender.
And the click commands, are having the macro click each the assorted buttons.
And then have relevant macros on each.

There aren't delays or anything, so that won't be an issue (no botting).
But like the popular DK Manifesto style, you are essentially spamming one key.
Which in turn mashes several macros.
Anything on cooldown cannot fire off, and fails if that is "randomly" mashed slightly ahead of the others.
Further with the Global Cooldown, anything that triggers the GCD prevents anything else on the GCD from firing.
But if you mash quickly, you will pretty consistently get an ability that can fire off, at least once every GCD.
It is a very decent approach.

    If you use IS Boxer...
You could do all of this software side.
Take a look at the DK Manifesto, either version... it is a video by mosg2.

This is a ss of my BM setup. I use Bartender4, so the BT4Button commands in the lines are for that addon. They can be changed to whatever bar addon you use to work correctly, or to the default /click ActionButton# if you don't use any at all. Finding the right command line for that specific button is on you to find out, sorry. With BT4, it's a bit easier, atleast it was for me with the Keybinding option in the main menu for the addon. The big buttons under my character are the buttons I manually click with my mouse, the 4x4 squared ones in the middle there are my Q, E, Shift+Q, and Shift+E buttons I spam. I set them up from the beginning and just have yet to reset them to another bar. You can set these up however you want, the first small bar under it is the main actionbar, 1 - 0 then - & = buttons. Bar under that is the Shift+#s, also known as actionbar 2 or whatever, 3rd under that are my Fkeys. All others off to the side are my macro keys for my Logitech G11 keyboard for each M button setup, then my Home-End-Pageup/down keys, and my Numberpad keys on the right side of my keyboard. I mainly set all these up for my teams when I had them up. Had spells on certain ones that where not on others, and had healers setup for healing on the keypad, this was not easy for me to do btw. If you want to see talent trees/glyphs and everything, my main hunter's name is Brummly on Earthen Ring. Take what you want from him, I don't mind if people copy how I've got it setup. Not the best, but I manage with him pretty well. Haven't had a chance to test him out in any raids, but stay alive for the most part in heroics. Unless it's the boss fights in Grim Batol. They don't like hunters in there :/

    http://img88.imageshack.us/f/wowscrnshot032111214135.jpg/

This one is my Survival setup. I spend most of my time in Surv spec now. I suggest swappin to this for dps improvement once you're able to get Serpent Spread on the talent tree.
