Afaik it's a random thing that happens in TM, ptolly because you got the undead alchemist quest giver doing his crazy experiments. It's called a chemical spill iirc.

I wondered if that's what it might be at first but that's one of the few horde areas I have quested fully in and not once has he ever morphed my horde chars into roaches...all he's done so far that I know of was turn his aide into a frog lol

Then again, I never knew there was a rarespawn DRAGON in hillsbrad either even when my ex gf spotted it and it had "disappeared" before I got there...then I found it on my own a couple months later, + the rare, short-time "invasion" of Southshore by stealthed Syndicate rogues that're trying to assassinate the town leader, who drop a Quest-giving item for Alliance lol
