Default Help for a beginner (wow, 2 characters)

    Hello!

I recently decided to reactivate my second WoW account and perhaps push a bit farther then i did last time, which was pretty much alt-tabbing between windows to toss some heals and loot. My main character is a warrior and i've decided to play a priest to back him up - to be able to raid classic content, maybe even (as i get more proficient at the whole dual-boxing thing) do normals and hc's with me controlling both tank and healer. Perhaps a little pvp too.

So, i need some help to figure out what it is i need. Never really done any serious dual-boxing, and it seems that the best course of action would be to ask the experts.

    I'd like:

    * Individually controlling the priest, though obviously not as intricate as my warrior. This would include movement (perhaps using the arrow keys) and major skills.
    * I don't want the skills on the same buttons as my warrior has so i need some way to globally link F1-F8 for using my priest skills while still playing the warrior. I'm thinking
    F1: PoM Focus
    F2: Renew Focus
    F3: Gheal Focus
    F4: Chakra/etc
    F5: Renew Focus's target
    F6: Dispel Focus's target
    * Opensource solution

So..i'd like for the people who actually know something about this, which i don't, to suggest a software and a way to set it up. Links to tutorials would be most appreciated as well, i'm not really coding-savvy and i'd probably need some document to hold my hand for most of the way .

    Thanks in advance!

Your most basic decision is a software to box with.

After that is your assist approach.
If you can do FTL (or your software does that), go with FTL.
If not, go with a Focus assist, as that is the next most flexible.

The guide Khatovar linked, covers all this.

If you haven't started yet, be sure to check out the Recruit a Friend (RAF) promotion.
    That rocks.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I am with Ualaa on this one. If you haven't checked out RAF it may totally be worth your time to start a fresh toon and RAF it. It will save HOURS and HOURS of levelling time.
