First, you really don't need either ... most mobs die too fast for it to matter. That being said, 30 spell damage will be far superior for the simple fact that most mobs wont live through the first volley ... so mana won't be an issue.
I'm not getting the enchants to help with the mobs on an individual basis; they will help me my sessions as a whole. with higher intel, and a deeper mana pool, i can go longer without needing to drink. the intel would also subsequently raise my spell crit by about 2%.

The spell damage would increase the damage I do and as you pointed out I would (hopefully) be able to kill mobs in the first volley. if this is the case, would i always regen mana as fast as i kill? if so then perhaps this is clearly the best option.



THose are pretty expensive enchants if I recall correctly. What level toons are you putting them on...?
These will be going on gear for very low level alts. however, they will be going on grey/white gear. have you guys ever used this trick? white gear doesn't bind, even with enchants...so you can mail them from alt to alt. I have +30 stam and +25spell dmg/+15 stam enchants on various white cloth leggings that i often trade back and forth between low low level alts.

they are expensive, but the investment isn't lost once the toon levels up. even if you're just running toons through instances, the +stam gear can be a nice buffer for making sure that they never die.
