Blood DK in PVP

I was enjoying blood pvp, and now even more so.

I was originally using my PVE setup... but I've made one minor modification. Changed into unholy presence with death coil for runic power dump.

Along with chains of ice / grab and the increased run speed, i'm much less kitable and I have a ranged attack - death coil brill!

How's other people getting on with blood pvp?

Was thinking about trying it actually now that i hit level 69 and all. What talents / glyphs should i go for?

Haven't done the Blood PvP, since the Grizzly Hills dailies.
Used the Unholy Presence there, and liked it.
Was using a two-hander, whatever quest piece I had at the time.

At 73rd, an 80th got some of the team and died.
At 75th, two 80's were raped.

Not a whole lot of world pvp encounters, on the carebear server as Blood.
Have not done any arena or battlegrounds as Blood.

Here's one of my dk's for specs/glyphs

only thing is i haven't changed from my pve setup! I'm playing AV EoS though..so i doubt it much matters.

Thinking I might make the other spec blood too and adjust slightly for PVP

I adjusted for pvp, strangulate, death grip coolddowns and the mount speed talents.

Also got death succor and some other nice pvp glyphs.. having a swell time.

when they fix it so that you can no longer gain blood shield without being in blood presence, ANY shot at blood pvp will be stagnant.

till then have fun with it. I did some arenas last night as blood, and found i live MUCH longer as frost, perhaps just because of the defensive cooldowns and added pressure /shrug

is that in the PTR? it'd be a shame..

yep blood shield no longer works(ie makes mastery useless) unless you're in blood presence... what this means is that glyph of dark succor no longer adds super healing + the mastery bonus of a shield... which means we cant survive much AND do good deepz lol

oh well it works for a little while anyway

Go frost it's getting buffed in 4.1
