Hehe, that sucks :/ thats life I guess. What kind of classes are you currently running with Ualaa? Gearing my hunters are going slow, BG ques are around 5-7 min wait time. Currently got 3 pieces of honor gear, havent bothered in getting the trinket cus I allways sneak @ the back in large fights pewpewing. Gonna pay some pro healer or dps to boost all my hunters in 2s until I get the weapons

Alt 130, for the final "e" in their names.
Intimidating names, and looks especially the pink pig-tails.

1x Holy Paladin; Human named Judsea.

Fairly close to following the DK Manifesto threads.
Have a thread, which is a text version of what I'm doing.
But I am constantly adapting what I have.

The honor grind is complete now.
Most of it was done during the last AV weekend; with four or five pieces slowly accrued since then.
Pally has the Conquest 1H healer mace, and full Honor gear including the two honor enchants.
DK's have full Honor gear, and are capped (in 2's) this week... two wins away from Conquest 2-Handers.

Pally, 3,353 Res.
DK's, 3,315 Res.

At 2k res, with crappy weaponry, did not manage a win or even a kill in 18 games played.

Had a thread looking for arena suggestions, and there were plenty that improved the set up.
And the suggestion to get better weapons.

Since they, I've finished their honor grind.
And am 2 arena wins (will have on Tue/Wed) from Conquest weapons.
Have not tried 5's since two weeks ago, but will give it a shot once we have the weapons.

In 2's, its always remake the team after 5 wins.
To reset the team rating to zero, for hopefully easier opponents.
At the end of a match, my MMR is 1300 or so when paired with a similar geared DPS.
The 2's rating sometimes raises to 800 or 900, before a reset, but is often reset at 500 or so rating.
Just disband, and make a new team with the same name.


I've taken Shammies into battlegrounds for mass pvp.
But have never done arena with them.

My arena background is a solo Elemental Shammy in 5's, during late BC before I was boxing.
And then dancing naked in arena for points, when losing was still points.
This is the first season I've tried to win arena as a boxer.
Fives were frustrating as hell, not even killing a single opponent in 18 games.
But the resilience was lower than any opponent basically, and the weapon sucks too.. 318 quest axe or something stupid.

I started with pvp in wotlk as hunter, only did 2s. Nothing fancy rating, always a tier behind. Started boxing 4 ele shamans late wotlk, grinded honor and bought full wrathfull. Soloed large masses of allies, and couldnt wait to do 5s and dungeons in Cata like I did in wotlk. So lvled to 85, geared em up, won some, lost some. Then I missed out on 2 weeks of points, came back and got steamrolled! And after that I stopped playing em, just waiting for ele shamans to get buffed, better gear and nerfs to resilience. Guess it will be like wotlk, the last 2 seasons boxing ele shamans kicked ass. Kinda hoping that will happen to hunters aswell

Update on arena: tried 5s today with a priest, all matches was against a 2300 mmr team :P met em 4 times in a row. Each time I got their hpala down to 25-30 %, then he popped bubble, then I switched to their boomkin, had him down on 40 % hp. Didnt get a single kill, BUT was great fun My team only have about 110 k hp with fortitude and king and around 1100 resilience

The battleground honor grind, will put you close to 3k resilience... entirely without arena.

Not saying don't arena each week.
The opposite in fact; get your points how you can.
Fives is preferable, as the team gets points with the least number of total games.
But even 2's, with you driving both or one Hunter, can work.

But also, every week that you do the arena thing...
You will have more Honor gear and be better off than the previous attempt.

Yeah, played 2s with 1 hunter to get my points this week. By next wednesday I should have the vicious bow along with the trinket and 4 set bonus. But its kinda wierd, my hunters didnt die right away like my shamans did, and my hunters did alot more dmg, even thou their item lvl is 325 compared to my shamans which is 354.

Just did 5s with a priest. Setup was 4 BM hunters + a priest.

My first serious week of 5s went like this:

3 - 4 stat

2 wins was against a team comp of: 1 DK, 1 hunter, 2 warriors, 1 rogue. They had around 130 k hp each! Pretty much face rolled em pretty bad. Took 1 warrior down pretty quick, then went straight for the hunter.

Last win was against a team comp of: 1 warrior, 1 disc priest, 1 shadow priest, 1 resto shaman, 1 enhancement shaman. This fight took some time aswell, the warrior went pretty fast down, after that I was CCed (dont have trinkets). Had some fear bombs, then I took out the resto shaman pretty quick. Suddenly the priest came walking towards me with 3 pets on him with only 30 k hp left. Pets are critting for 5-10 k each, so strats will be to send all 4 pets om the healer, and focus a dps! They need to fear my pets in order to survive the first burst wave. But most comps dont know that yet

Lost 1 match due to my healer failed. He went aggressive against a team and LOSed me and ran into the other group beneath the bridge in the map.

3 other matches lost cus of me not playing aggressive enough. I let them pick a target and let them open. (Not a good idea when running 4 hunters).

Stats on hunters: 1,8 k resilience on each. Main had the vicious bow, rest had 333 item lvl bows. But last win gave me enough points to buy the bow for the whole team. Cant wait for tomorrow
