Multiboxing huntards in arena

Keep at it.

Until you have a fair amount of honor gear, you cannot be sure of the true potential of the team.
And the Conquest Bow/Crossbow/Gun, will be a rather large upgrade when you get it.
Once you have the tools, and you've played a bunch of games to learn what works and what needs to be changed...
Then you can decide the viability of the team.

Battlegrounds will place you a tier of gear behind the current best (arena/ratedBG's).
But with full Honor gear, you should be rather dominant in a lot of BG's.
Maybe not so much in the confines of a tower, but I'd imagine an AB style game (or AV between objectives) the Hunters would rock.

There are quite a few players out there with massive Resiliency.
I'd strongly consider paying if need be, to run 2's with your Hunters.
Conquest points cap each week is the most important thing.

Thanks for all tips guys, best community ever been doing some BGs after Ive dinged, not as much as Id hope! Losing alot of BGs due to the fact some ppl cant play BGs, kinda annoying tbh. So today I met a full pvp geared warrior and rogue in Iland of conquest or something (they engaged me). Both got raped by my hunters, main toon had around 50 % hp left, alts around 80 % hp! Gonna try to put together some clips this weekend from BGs

BG's can be annoying, based purely on your teammates.

Recently, I rush Frost Wolf Keep (AV) with five other players.
We take the Reserve Hut, and one guy stays there.

I move to the choke point, the hill coming up the the entrance area.
I have to watch the entrance and the opening in the fence, but either way they basically have to go through me.
A resto druid is there with me, and the extra healing is nice; we repel several groups of 1-5 players.

The other three players tap East & West towers.

After a while the horde retakes the East tower.
So I head in, evidently a rogue/druid has snuck past me..
I run up the tower we still hold.. and the rogue finishes re-capping this one too.
I kill the rogue with ease, five on one.

What sucks, and the kicker...
There are three alliance in this tower, who did not stop the rogue from capping the tower.
They're just standing there.

Sometimes your team just sucks.
Not much you can do about that.

Hehe, that sucks :/ thats life I guess. What kind of classes are you currently running with Ualaa? Gearing my hunters are going slow, BG ques are around 5-7 min wait time. Currently got 3 pieces of honor gear, havent bothered in getting the trinket cus I allways sneak @ the back in large fights pewpewing. Gonna pay some pro healer or dps to boost all my hunters in 2s until I get the weapons

4x Frost Death Knights; Gnomettes named Cuddles, Huggles, Tickles and Snuggles.
Alt 130, for the final "e" in their names.
Intimidating names, and looks especially the pink pig-tails.

1x Holy Paladin; Human named Judsea.

Fairly close to following the DK Manifesto threads.
Have a thread, which is a text version of what I'm doing.
But I am constantly adapting what I have.

The honor grind is complete now.
Most of it was done during the last AV weekend; with four or five pieces slowly accrued since then.
Pally has the Conquest 1H healer mace, and full Honor gear including the two honor enchants.
DK's have full Honor gear, and are capped (in 2's) this week... two wins away from Conquest 2-Handers.

Pally, 3,353 Res.
DK's, 3,315 Res.

At 2k res, with crappy weaponry, did not manage a win or even a kill in 18 games played.

Had a thread looking for arena suggestions, and there were plenty that improved the set up.
And the suggestion to get better weapons.

Since they, I've finished their honor grind.
And am 2 arena wins (will have on Tue/Wed) from Conquest weapons.
Have not tried 5's since two weeks ago, but will give it a shot once we have the weapons.

In 2's, its always remake the team after 5 wins.
To reset the team rating to zero, for hopefully easier opponents.
At the end of a match, my MMR is 1300 or so when paired with a similar geared DPS.
The 2's rating sometimes raises to 800 or 900, before a reset, but is often reset at 500 or so rating.
Just disband, and make a new team with the same name.


I've taken Shammies into battlegrounds for mass pvp.
But have never done arena with them.

My arena background is a solo Elemental Shammy in 5's, during late BC before I was boxing.
And then dancing naked in arena for points, when losing was still points.
This is the first season I've tried to win arena as a boxer.
Fives were frustrating as hell, not even killing a single opponent in 18 games.
But the resilience was lower than any opponent basically, and the weapon sucks too.. 318 quest axe or something stupid.

I started with pvp in wotlk as hunter, only did 2s. Nothing fancy rating, always a tier behind. Started boxing 4 ele shamans late wotlk, grinded honor and bought full wrathfull. Soloed large masses of allies, and couldnt wait to do 5s and dungeons in Cata like I did in wotlk. So lvled to 85, geared em up, won some, lost some. Then I missed out on 2 weeks of points, came back and got steamrolled! And after that I stopped playing em, just waiting for ele shamans to get buffed, better gear and nerfs to resilience. Guess it will be like wotlk, the last 2 seasons boxing ele shamans kicked ass. Kinda hoping that will happen to hunters aswell

Update on arena: tried 5s today with a priest, all matches was against a 2300 mmr team :P met em 4 times in a row. Each time I got their hpala down to 25-30 %, then he popped bubble, then I switched to their boomkin, had him down on 40 % hp. Didnt get a single kill, BUT was great fun My team only have about 110 k hp with fortitude and king and around 1100 resilience

The battleground honor grind, will put you close to 3k resilience... entirely without arena.

Not saying don't arena each week.
The opposite in fact; get your points how you can.
Fives is preferable, as the team gets points with the least number of total games.
But even 2's, with you driving both or one Hunter, can work.

But also, every week that you do the arena thing...
You will have more Honor gear and be better off than the previous attempt.
