Combat Rogue in BRD can still do it, but just remember the mobs there have higher armor, they sunder, net, and disarm.

At most, 3 mob pulls. There are some 4 or 5 pull, but you can skip those. But I only grind the immediate areas for 12 minutes before resetting.

I tried BRD last night, still decent xp. I can do the 5 pulls if I sap the paladin guy, and then bladeflurry the rest, or evasion, or AR. I need 1 cooldown or I take tons of damage(20% by the time they aredead).

So that room, I have approximately a 2 minute max between groups.... I dunno, it's just not AWESOME xp cause of their mitigation to physical damage.

As a rogue, I wouldn't mind finding somewhere that has alot of 50/50 groups(say 4, 2 casters 2 melee), cause I can drop the casters fast(increases xp) and the melee don't hit me too much(mitigation so I need less healing)....

I'm gonna have to run through BRD to see if there is something close.

Uhh, skip those Officer packs. They aren't worthy.

This image of BRD where A = Entrance.

Just do the area 1, 12, and the hallway around 6. Reset every 12.5 minutes, and repeat.

Park your alts outside Room 12, directly south of that room, but outside of 12, and in area 1.

In Area 12, you can pull packs closer to exp range of your noobs. There are no healer mobs.

Area 1 has some Wardens that nets you, and roaming dogs that see invis--they all die fast.

The circular hallway around area 6 have packs up to 5, some mixed with fire elementals that shoot fireballs in the front arc.

Yeah, any 70 dps can do the packs no problem. Now imagine a prot paladin does those in 4 pulls.

The most I racked up was 75k xp/hour non-rested. The xp gain varies from 35k to 75k depending on the lowbie's level. I do slow down though for loots with some grey weapons selling for almost 2g each sometimes.

There's plenty of dogs to skill up skinning too.

Well, my druid is lvl 51 right now. That could possibly help me lvl far enough to bump into outlands. Then I could just transfer him to my 2nd acct and run him with either my war or my hunter. could be interesting.

To loot, or not to loot, that is the question. The thing that slows me down the most is taking time to loot for chance greens to level my enchanting with. Were it not for that, i'm pretty sure i could have hit 30-35k/hour last night on my shaman w/ a protadin rushing.

    Default Further Insight?

My four man crew is level 19-20 atm.

As everyone does, I'm trying to map out the most efficient way to level them. I have a level 70 warlock as the booster. I was pretty underwhelmed with RFC at level 10'ish. I saw a post in tihs thread from Eto that indicated (anecdotally) that the closer your lowbies are to the intended level of the instance = the best exp rate. Anyone have anything to add?

My plan prior to reading this post was to get my crew to 20 and hit SM. Use my VW (or FG) to pull, and burn big groups down with SoC. However, I'm wondering if a lower instance would be better?

We really should put a definitive Wiki entry together on boosting strategies. Seems to be a pretty common question.

    Thanks.

I've power leveled about 10 sets of toons from 1-60, so I feel somewhat qualified in answering the OP's questions

    The general rules are:
    1. If you're power leveling one toon, then you want yourself (70), him (whatever level), and then 2 other toons that are towards the minimum level required for the dungeon. For instance, in SM you'll want level 20's to start, and then once your power levelee hits 30 you'll want to take about level 25's, then as you hit 35 you'll want 30's etc. The lower level the other two are the more xp your power levelee gets. I've found that two others is the maximum xp possible with the group bonus plus splitting xp.

    2. Always go to the new dungeon at the minimum level. It's a huge xp increase. With that in mind...

Hand grind to level 10. 10-15 you do in Wailing Caverns. 15-20 you do in Razorfen Kraul (RFK is one of the best because you can make a big circle--Go to the last boss, then jump down and kill pigs all the way to the entrance; There's no downtime where you're just running to zone), 20-35 you do in SM Cath, 35-45 you do in Zul'Farrak, 45-55 Scholo or LBRS or BRD depending on what your power leveler and power levelee classes are. Also, at 45 you can take a full group and you won't lose any xp. 55-60 you can do easy peasy in Ramparts. 55-60 took me less time than 50-55 took easily.

I use a Warlock to get'em to 45 and then my Warrior from 45-60. Up until BRD/Scholo/LBRS you don't really need heals as a Warlock that much. At that point, snag 3 healers plus your power levelee and go to LBRS (My favorite). The mobs do decent damage so you're getting a crapload of rage. You can just burn down everything, plus you're getting LBS's the whole way through.

I am currently boosting my 4 shaman with my level 70 mage in BRD. My shaman are 52 and I am planning on staying there til 55. I pretty much kill with my mage and heal him with my shaman throwing in chain lightning here and there. My mage has 9600 hps and pretty good gear. Do you guys think it would be possible to do this same method in ramps after my shaman hit 55? or would my mage get killed way too fast for my shaman to heal?
