I havent been in an arena team in over a yr and a half. I got into one with a buddy. I was astonished to see, we dont get any points, even if we lose. Did this actually change? or did / are we doing something wrong. (Besides losing 0-7)

Enh shaman, and BM Huntard, is a sucky combo.

No more blood lust? is this new too? new ish?

are pallies able to dispell hunter traps? It was difficult to see, but it sure looked like my traps would freeze, or slow, or explode, and then they were dispelled by the pally.

You only get rewarded for winning... good change. You only need to win 5 games to hit cap.

Heroism/bloodlust/timewarp/bm lust etc... got removed in 4.0.6.

The trap is a magic effect has always been dispell able. You should be trapping / hexing dispellers

You should probably catch up on all the PvP related patch notes. You can't lose for points anymore. You *have* to win to get any points. At lower rating it should only take 5-7 games to max your points for the week. Enh shaman are pretty OP atm. Not sure how hunters are atm. No, no more bloodlust. Yes, any class that can dispel magic (iirc) can dispel a hunter trap freeze/immolate. If your hunter traps are getting dispelled, you're likely trapping the wrong target. You can't dispel the slowing effect iirc.

4.0.6 toned enh shamans down some, but they are still very good. They are still behind DKs/Wars/Rogues in terms of melee.

I recently started a 2v2 team just for the sake of capping out my weekly points on 2 toons that I like to play solo. Cba to rely on others any longer. I went with ele shaman + blood/unholy dk. Run with the ele and basically use the dk to sit on everything that sits on my shaman, and it's actually stupidly easy to get my wins this way. Think I haven't played more than 7 games to win 5. I have no ambitions to get any decent rating, but just for the wins this is working well for me.
