    Default Light Well Macro

So after searching and reading around here for a bit, I decided to start using my priest's lighwell in dungeons and pvp.

So I created a 3-step mapped key in ISboxer to accomplish this.

    Here are the steps
    1. /target Lightwell
    2. Interact With Target
    3. /targetlasttarget

This seems to work fine, but I dislike having to press the button multiple times.

Is there a better way? I'd like to simply press 1 button.

So really is boils down to 4 key presses, drop light well on priest, then hammer the above 3 times.

Anyway to come all 4 steps into one simple key press?

Why not set up a send-next-click command so you can just press the button once and click the target area once without having to switch from your masters screen.

Youll have to put the spell on a bar and bind a key to the button on that bar (in wow - use < for example).

You can make isboxer listen for alt-space or whatever key combo you want and have it send the wow keybind to an atg that contains your priest. I use either a click heal region atg that contains all healers or one that contains only holy priests.

When you press alt-space or whatever you chose in isboxer, it sends < to the priest, causing the lightwell spell to cast. Then it waits for you to click an area on your masters screen and sends that same cllick to the priests screen.

Im reciting all this from my spotty memory. Ualaa is the one who could tell you forward and backward how to do it exactly.

Nope, unless they make the Light well "usable". Yours is as good as it gets.

update: You will always need to have the /target light well and interact with target in two seperate steps. You can drop the LW at the start of the fight, so it's there to use whenever you need it. The targetlasttarget can be left out whenever you just follow you're tank.

I misunderstood the OP. I thought you wanted to drop the lightwell, not use it. Thanks for posting your macro. It will be useful when a boss is in my face and thats all i can see. Or during pack pulls. Very useful, thanks!

    See if this works.

Make a two step mapped key.
    Execute on press or release.

    Step 1 is press.
    It has the target Lightwell.

    Step 2
    Interact With Target
    And Targetlasttarget.

You would press and hold, to ensure the target has changed to the Lightwell.
    Then release.

    Pretty sure that would work.
