Default My level 80 priest one shot by a level 85 rogue

My x4 DKs finally hit level 80 after 3 days and 10 hours played. I already had a level 80 priest, so I picked him up and started doing quests in Hyjal.

My setup is similar to Mosq2. I drive with my priest and my x4 DKs attack.

Well, a level 85 rogue appeared out of no where and one-shot my priest (instant angel form). My priest has shitty gear and only 20K health at level 80 so LOL. Not surprised.

Anyway, I proceeded to destroy the rogue with my x4 DKs. He didn't even have time to cloak or vanish. He simply died in 4 seconds. It was a great feeling.

That is a good sign for the team.
If with starting gear, your four toons can basically take out a level 85.

Gear up your healer a bit, add in Resiliency.
And they won't be a one-shot deal at all.
Plus the DK's DPS will rise fairly significantly, with levels and gearing.

Assuming test stays the same, you'll be able to battle rez with the DK's for 50 runic power.
If it is the same as the druid version, each will have their own cooldown in world stuff and non-rated BG's, but share a cooldown in raids or rated battlegrounds.

Could probably duel between two of your toons, for the runic power if need be.

    lol! I love those kind.
BC Arena was a game of Chess, the goal being to outthink and checkmate your opponent.

WotLK was also a game of Chess, the goal now being to take a turd on the chess board before your opponent could move.

Ran into another level 85, this time a mage.

The first time I caught me off guard and annihilated him. He came back prepared...

Now I fully understand when Mosq2 says "I lose to roots".

God damn Ring of Frost and Ice Nova. I got lucky a few times killed him again, but he wouldn't stop camping my group so I logged. Though in each encounter I got him fairly low.

I imagine once I hit level 85 with some resilience, he would be dead in seconds.

If you can catch them with Death Grip on round robin, wait to use after they blink, they won't last long. That plus x4 Strangulates and Mind Freezes on RR would keep any caster in check.

I used death grip on round robin. It doesn't always go off when I tap the button, so I sometimes double tap with causes two to death grip in quick succession.

I do have mind freeze on round robin as part of my rotation.

As for strangulate, I do have this on round robin. I have it setup to do a blood tap then strangulate.
What I've found I need to tap it twice (due to the blood tap consuming a GCD) so it gets delayed.

I almost need a round robin that does 2 steps before moving to the next character.

I had a few bads following me around the other day when leveling druids. The DK was easy. Even vs. plate having 10 bleeds would just chew through them. There was a mage too, and it was quite a bit more of a problem. Constant roots, although I did eventually get lucky and was able to get 4 to leap over a ring of frost and finish him off with Ravage and a couple Mangles. Hopefully 4.1 will come sooner rather than later so I will get the 5 aoe root breakers with stampeding roar for this group.

Sad thing is, if I even try to start anything or attack anyone then about 5 minutes later 10-15 players tend to appear and start camping me.

Just know that you are doing your job then. You pissed the poor (I'm going to guess Ally) 10 year old off so he had to QQ in /1 because he is bad.

Then it's best to set these up on their own buttons. Try using an alt or control variation for it, like alt+1, or control+1 for one toon, and so on, leaving that space blank on the others so they don't end up casting it also. I know it's a waste of hotbar space, but this is also one reason I got a keyboard with the macro keys. I've run into the 'double tapping' problem many times on my prot+ret team leveling them up trying to keep rebuke on roundrobin, or concussive shot on my hunters. The server lag is to blame for it, but there's always a workaround to make something better.
