Leveling my Mains

Trying to get movitated to get my 3 80s to 85. Only 1 account has Cata on it (2 80s) other one could be as the box is sitting there. Just when I tried to quest, it seems slow. Would dual-boxing speed that process? Did Vas'jar with the Druid as swimming was easy. The DK has only been to Mt Hyjal. Both are at 81.

Vecter leveled all 3 of his toons at the same time, he hit 85 on all 3 about 4-5 days after I did on my solo toon. It's definitely faster than leveling them solo, it's just going to be a pain because cata leveling is so linear you really can't skip anything. You can skip Vash'Jir totally and you should hit 85 before you finish Twilight Highlands.

I've leveled 20 toons to 85 and plan on doing some more soon.

You only need to do Hyjal, Deepholm (my favorite!), and Twilight. Stay far away from Vash and Uldum - those places are horrible! Twilight is a tad tough b/c of the collection quests, but worth it based on the nice gear you end up getting.

I leveled my last ten all together (two groups, one group assisting the other kill things until their quests were done). It was a bit slow, but TONS faster than leveling ten toons solo. There were a number of quests in which both teams (all ten toons) got quest completion credit at once, which was an unexpected bonus. Leveling really isn't be now with heirlooms, guild bonus, etc.

You give me hope. Can't do all 3 as 2 are on same account but by questing those 2 with the lone 80 it should work fine. Nice to hear about doing 3 areas instead of 5-6, they are BIG

I leveled 3 toons to 85 solo, and am working on the other 7. Leveling them at the same time may feel slow, but it is much quicker overall than leveling them solo.

I have to disagree with Merc on the zones - call it personal preference. Vash is not great, but doable (less ganking there is a plus for me). I like Hyjal as a zone more than Vash, but the ganking made it a painful place to try and quest. Uldum is awesome especially if you like Raiders of the Lost Ark. Twighlight quests are painful. Soooo many collections. I only did the complete zone once on the three toons and that was enough. Deepholm was a lot of fun.

What I did on two of the toons is go to the starter zones until i was high enough to get to Deepholm, do all of Deepholm, then go to Uldum or Twiliight.

Solo I would have a different view of things than as a 5- or 10-boxer.

If I were solo, I think Vash would be just as fun as Hyjal - maybe more so b/c it is different. As a boxer it was non-stop misery with all the collection quests and general inability to see where my toons were in relation to the mobs b/c the z-axis was in play.

We definitely agree on Deepholm - do all of it, solo or boxing.

If I were solo, I think I would have done Uldum as well, perhaps in place of Twilight. Uldum does have some entertaining story arcs, but way too many collection quests for boxers. The gear is also a higher ilvl in Twilight, but Uldum gear is not far behind.
