Goon also played during the start of AoC on my open PvP server. They really are a mindless zerg. Mostly minors.

PvP just adds another element to the game. It's frustrating at times, but it's also a lot of fun too - for me at least. It's not for everyone, but I enjoy it. We have Goonsquad or whatever on our server and run into them quite a bit, but I think it's fun to kill them when possible. I also like it when people try and gank me, and then I kill them. Or they try and gank our raid when we're doing a world boss and we repel them and kill the boss, it's just a lot of fun.
I haven't even entered a battlegound yet, and I'm level 28. I just like world pvp. It's fun letting people live as you walk by them, knowing you could kill them.

Roll PVE man. Even on PVE servers enough people walk around flagged to get all the PVP action you'd probably want. Also you choose when and where to PVP. People on PVP servers are ruthless and it's kill or be killed.
