I heard that you can be out of range of his fear, but I took too long setting this up, all my pets died, and then I got AEd to death.

Easy way to kill him would be to just go 5 Riftstalkers / bard / whatever and just move him and heal like hell.. would take more time but i thinkl it wuld be fairly simple, as you take less damage and get 30% bonus to bard heals etc, and makes it alot easier to move him out of the shadow, shame the 3rd spec costs so much :P

Playing this encounter solo, it was very easy. The key is that the tank has to melee the boss whenever he's in the moonlight in order to pull him out. While he's in the moonlight he starts getting buffed and as each stack applys, if he reaches 10+ stacks, you're tank will likely go bye bye. Once you get him out of the light, the buffs will slowly tick off of him, so if I was boxing it, I would slow your dps way down until all he buffs are off.

If I was 5 boxing the encounter, I would switch your lead to a riftstalker as the tanking HP, heals received, and damage mitigation is huge, then keep all your bards at max distance and that won't eat the fear.
