    Default Twisting the Knife ...

After a BG ends where I completely wiped the floor with the other team, I look through their names and servers and I make a level 1 on their server and ask them if they enjoyed how much I kicked their butt in that last BG

I think I'm a humanitarian by doing this, because I give them the opportunity to vent and that releases stress

I could see a suspension, but doubt they'll ban your account.
Unless you've been suspended several times already.

Why lower yourself to their level at all?

ghonosyph, Its not against any rules to politely disagree with anyone, if someone does not wish to chat with you they have the option to put you on ignore. The GMs wont touch you and the ignore function is rarely used because these poor sods wants your approval and will attempt to convince you to give them some support.

Jayne, The question isnt really why you should lower yourself to their level, its why you should let them bring their low level to you?
Whiners are a part of all multiplayer games and its the same players that complain in all games. Ideally I would wish for the whiners to stop playing games because they attempt to ruin the experience for everyone else, but realistically the only viable choices are to stop playing multiplayer games or adapt and turn the table around and look on the crazy ragers as added entertainment. Like clowns in an amusement park that perform for free for you

It completely baffles my mind that someone can spend their precious spare time choosing to do an activity which they do not enjoy and makes them agitated. These people or players put themselves in a position where their state of happiness hangs on a balance that is extremely easy to sway resulting in their happiness being very fragile and volatile. It takes so little for them to break down that its basically impossible for them not to.

Its stupid! And whats even more stupid is these people dont see it themselves and can not identify the source of their issues. They blame everyone else around them when really there is nothing wrong with anyone but themselves, until they realize that they will be trapped in the same downwards spiral.

Yeah, well, whatever makes you tick I guess. Still feel just ignoring people and continue as usual is the best option. Being an ass because they were an ass doesn't make you (or them) less of an ass. Just my 0.02$ on bottoms.

I think this is not a great thing to do to be honest.

With EotS weekend ( a great BG for boxers) I have been taking the opportunity to farm honour for my PvP mounts. Having a geared 5 man PvP team basically means a guaranteed win with my 4 DKs going 1-4 on KBs and being a prime target for whinging from the enemy.

I have had 3 separate cases of Horde making lvl 1 toons on my server to complain and tell me I have no life. The people who want to do this I don't respond to and just report which, funnily enough just seems to infuriate them more.

What it makes me think of them however is that they are more likely the ones without much life. To hurt so much at losing to a better geared, better co-ordinated team that you need to take time out of your fun, productive activities in the game to do something so negative which may potentially get you banned, is evidence that they are the ones with balance issues.

The reason I don't like the idea of replicating this behaviour when you are on the winning side is that whilst it may be fun (not really my idea of it, but can see how others may find it so) it is not really a productive use of your time in the game. If you do have so much spare time that you can spend time doing something like this, then maybe you do spend a little bit too much time on the game.

Finally, it's pretty much just a mean thing to do. Sure some people are interested in watching and playing against boxers and if someone makes a lvl 1 toon on my server to chat about that aspect I'm more than happy to do so. In general though, most of the WoW population still view it as hacking and just think we are breaking the rules, so I don't really see that this sort of activity would do anything more than deliberately provoke them and paint boxers in a poor light.

Whilst I can't really see it being against the rules as long as you keep things civil and don't spam them, it's not really in the spirit of the game. I am acutely aware that mmo's do have an awful standard of behaviour by and large, but I like to think that boxers are generally a more mature and honourable group. Unfortunately this sort of behaviour doesn't really correlate with that image.

The only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner.

PS: I know this seems like a bt of a rant and I am 90% sure the OP was probably trolling, but what the hell :P
