Default Bored of my old team..

Ive been searching the web for some info about RAF, cant find it anywhere. So my questions are:

    1. I have 4 accounts with 1 shaman on each. Ive used up my RAF period, so not getting 300 % xp if I start new toons. What would be the smartest way to go? RAF 4 new accounts, upgrade to BC and level all teams to lvl 60? Then transfer my shamas over to my new 4 accounts?

    2. Is it free to move RAF characters from 1 old account to a new one?

    Regards Nikita

with harlooms and Guild xp if u can get in a exta 10% guild + the capes you get get a exta 35% xp a level.

if u was to start new RAF bc level then u could do this but it going to cost you $20 or whatever it is to move chars from realm to realm (ok this does work out cheeper then cata/wotlk atm)

but this is up to you if you not leveled in the new zones since the changeing 1-60 is a lot nicer now its a lot more like wotlk/bc leveling roads and one zone will level u the 5 levels you need to before you move on.

if you got the money then do RAF agean and move the chars. (if u plan on more then one set then it could get costey)
if not then just level them out

one more thing is if you 4/5 boxing you only need 2/3 acconts as u can use two of your old ones

    A oldsend inv > C new one ( > E newone)
    B oldsend inv > D new one
this would still give u the 300% as they are still linked

So I would only need 2 new accounts when Im 4 man boxing? But then Id have to transfer my old shamans from account C and D (old accounts) to the new C and D accounts. I thought I read somwhere that its free to transfer RAF characters from 1 new account to old accounts? Guessing thats just rubbish?

    Have not heard that before.

If you only have the one team that you care about.
You could probably do something like this.

    Two existing accounts (A/B).
    Three new accounts (C/D/E).
Transfer three toons, from existing accounts (not A/B) to new accounts (C/D/E).
Note, if both accounts are on the same Battle.Net account, the transfer is under an hour.
But if they're on different B.Net accounts, you cannot do moves at all for 30 days after merging the game account onto the B.Net account.... so the transfer would be after the one-month period.
Still need the same last name on accounts, etc.

    Link them like this:
    A - C - D
    B - E

    Then use "A" to boost C-D & B-E.
Ideally have a good boosting toon on A.
And RAF a lot of toons up on CDBE.
Which gets several granted toons to A (3 toons granted to A, for every 4 sets of toons boosted).
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

As an addition to this discussion, I have 5 accounts that I was leveling (acc A boosting the other 4). My RAF period expired and the 4 acc's only ended up at lvl49 or so as my playtime was interrupted annoyingly.

Would I be better off doing what you suggest above, i.e. drop a few of my acc's and set up some new RAF accounts, so that all 4 can get 300% xp again, or should i just keep boosting to 60 in scholo/strat/brd? It's got quite slow now with around a lvl every 2-3 runs... whereas I remember the RAF days of almost under 1 run per lvl...

I suppose setting up the new RAF accounts is another £30 or so - I only had them at TBC level, plus any transfer fees for the old chars (how much is that btw?)...

It really depends on how many you have on the accounts.
And how many more you want.

I've found new teams, since Cataclysm, with two pieces of Heirloom gear.. so +19% experience... take a couple of weeks or so, playing casually to 5x (no boosting) quest them to 60th.
Basically 10-12 levels in an afternoon/evening, and then a couple of days off.. so rested all the way basically.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. One to think about as I only have one character on 4 of the accounts, but haven't bought any heirloom pieces yet.

It really depends on weather you'd like to put in alot of time + money to go from 1-60 again or just just some time to go from 49-60. Its up to you though
