Been here for 12 months, and just now found how to add a Signature.
this team wasn't really that great in cata to begin with was it? lol
From what I've seen, it hasn't been optimal.
Like it was through a lot of WotLK.
But it has been fairly decent in arena.
Worth playing anyway.
The 4.1 stuff is still on test.
So no guarantee that will make it to live.
But 20 seconds WoG for non-Holy spec, sucks.

Last season in WOTLK, they were still a strong team and very gear dependent. There were a few that managed over 2k in BG9, and a handful of us that were over 1800. The problem with that makeup is all about what you go up against. Some combos, no matter what you do, will be able to endlessly kite you, which is even worse in cata.
Depends... If you're taking heavy damage, you'll be using it a lot more often. While not optimal, even a 1 HP charge x4 can yields 25-50k HP of healing not including eternal glory. IMO, what made this comp viable was Eternal Glory and Glyph of the Long Word. Glyph of the long word was awesome in the sense that you wouldn't overheal nearly as often through consistent damage. Eternal Glory helped for either that spiky damage, or when you need to top off other team members.
In heroics, you'd have a hell of a time keeping your tank up if you can only heal him once every 20 seconds. Same thing in arenas, if more than two people are getting nuked at the same time, Eternal Glory made it possible to heal both. I'm afraid that losing Eternal Glory is enough to cripple this team, let alone a long CD on word.
I did the bare minimum for arenas, and had an absolute horrible time - something like a 20% win ration, but never spent the time to get all the bloodthirsty gear. With only 2k resilence, I could feel it getting easier from each upgrade, but I had lost my patience with trying to gear them up. 5s queues and matchups totally sucks. I could deal with just about everything else I hate about cataclysm, but this was the last straw. Last season was fun in the sense that you had to work hard for the rating in 5s as a boxer. Queue up and you'd get lots of variety all night and fast queues.

This season has turned into a whole new level of exploiters. People will pay someone to get a high 2s or 3s rating, then they will play 1 game on that team to keep it active for the week and get their games in on different teams exploiting the system once again.
Then you have bgs - I despise the fact that 6 years later (okay, probably the past 4-5 for bgs) that blizzard cannot address the AFK issue. I used to enjoy bgs, but there is absolutely nothing worse than getting into a WSG match and to see 3 people afk - what makes it worse is that there are times where they were in my previous bg. Why is it the players have to force a player afk? What's worse is that you can have dickheads in the bg that report people afk who aren't. This issue has plagued bgs from the day they introduced the honor grind and they need a solid fix. IMO, they should flag the account as an AFKer, then put all the AFKers in a BG together. LOL

How long does it take to build 3 charges per character?
Some have procs and can get extra charges faster.
But you'd probably wait, until all toons have 3 charges.
As a Holy Pally, Holy Shock (every 5 seconds or so) gets you one charge.
As does healing your Beacon of Light target; but each Pally self Beacons for the passive healing, so that is not a guarantee.
Three points of Holy Power is every 15 seconds or so.
But WoG is not capped for Holy.
