Default Resolution problem at login screen...

So, after trying maximizer in windows XP, I decided that having 2 small windows was driving me crazy and switched to Vista so I could use 2 full size screens on each of my 2 monitors.

Well, now every time when I fire the game up (Standalone, maximizer off, windowed mode) the login screen is the old size, if I try to just max the window, its all distorted. If I try to reset the maximizer to be full screen, it seems to be ignoring it. I have the regions correct I believe. This also happened in XP so I don't think its a vista only problem.

Any ideas on how to get my resolution back?

Also, what exactly is maximizer changing to get the resolution that way? Just the window properties?

when you turn off maximizer, no graphic changes will be applied. to reset, go into wow/video settings and chose some setting. upon exit/restart everything should be back to normal

Yeah, I tried that, but the start screen is still fubar. Even renamed the WTF folder and it saved the resolution after I login, but the login screen is still the maximizer size. ?(

the dimensions are in the config.wtf called gxResolution. this would be the only resolution field noodled with when you use the region editor/maximizer.

changing the resolution in game would be enough and should reflect in the login screen. try running your wow without going through keyclone, after you reset the resolution (make sure keyclone was not running when you reset the resolution). at that point, keyclone has zero impact on the graphics settings.
