    I use the focus system in-game in order to follow. I set it up so that when I PiP to another window it broadcasts a key that sets that window as the focus.

    I prefer that to the FTL system.

    I was trying to Fraps some stuff but it makes some of my windows crash 8(

    It may be tricky if you've never used it before, but you can try using the DWM desktop capture in FRAPS. It will then capture every
    game window you have on that monitor rather than be tied to a particular game window. I can elaborate on this method more
    if need be because you have to change some settings on your recording side in order to get a tolerable frame rate [but might tax
    your system more overall -- not 100% sure, each system is different and yours is more powerful than mine].

    I've been using this method a lot in the past few weeks capturing desktop content and game windows included.
