Considure a boxing comback

Hi guys. to make this story short. I considure a comback into boxing IF i see that it might be worth it.

Given the info that i got high exp in arena/pvp on diffrent classes. I did have a fairly high 5s team with my 4 elemental shammys years ago when i was boxing. cleared most HC and raid content in TBC boxing 4/5 toons. Got a up todate kick as computer :P and keyclone accounts.

I consider geting back into boxing a 3toon team for 3v3 arena mainly. And i would like some up to date info from you guys that are active atm. Some feedback on class choices and how high you would assume would be posibol in cata.

The class choices i'm looking for atm would be:

3x Moonkins = stealthy in behind them and hopefully "snipe" one of the guys out before they know what hit them tack. Then finish it up with starfall, trees, and doting and hoting up. As far as i know moonkins are a bit broken atm, but that might not be the case in a boxing envirment. And the idea just sound so sweet :P

3x mages = similar tactick as of the moonkins by using invisibility, poping out pets and mirrors, deepfreeze + op dps and control.

3x Hunters = probably BM for the use of pets while i piller kite. (never played a hunter)

I'm open for sudjestings of classes. But those are what i think would work the best atm

If someone that are active now, that might have some teams and ideas going could give me some feedback on what might work, whats not really working out and how high i might expect to get a 3v3 team going then i would love to get some feedback on my thought here. Sorry for misspellings etc, Not english of origine.

I'd take a look at IS Boxer or Hot Key Net.
Either is a lot more flexible than Keyclone.

Keyclone is a wonderful product, which I used for a year or so.



But IS Boxer is the premier program currently.

The wizard gets you automatic FTL assist, meaning the non-active windows auto assist the active window, without need of any assist macros.
You can still use Focus or whatever in a macro, and that will overwrite the FTL.
IS Boxer literally has instant PiP switches from one region to another.
And the slaves will (subject to your latency... 1/4 second or so) auto assist the new leader without pressing anything except for the actual region change.

Mouse broadcasting is the other huge advantage, for pvp play.
You can put your toons into Action Target Groups, which are used as a target.
You could be running a 5's team, with three toons who have ground-target AoE (Blizzard, Hurricane and Death & Decay).
Put those toons into an Action Target Group.
Then put those wow spells on say "6".
You can set "6" to also enable mouse broadcasting for those three toons (everyone in the ATG), and you'll have a mouse targeting circle on those screens which moves in real time.
Once you click, it turns the broadcasting off.
The other toons get the "6" too (if you set them to), but don't get the mouse click and won't run off.

You can have your characters displayed alphabetically via Healbot, Grid or the like.
And create a Repeater Region, which is an area where mouse broadcasting auto-enables when the mouse is in the area.
And passes the clicks to a specific slot/character or to an action target group (multiple healers).
Then have Clique/Vuhdo/Healbot interpret the click.
So you can heal from any window, without macros, with extreme competence.



Lots of other features, but those jump out as the most pvp applicable that are huge jumps ahead of the capabilities of Keyclone.

You can do most of the IS Boxer features with Hot Key Net, if you're comfortable working with scripts.
All three products (KC, too) have phenomenal support on their sites.
Lax (IS Boxer) is easily the most active of the three on this site.

Thanks alot for the input on software, i truely need an update on that. Keyclone was the thing back in TBC and I remeber some ppl started to talk about IS boxer. I for sure need to learn a bit more on whats going on in software nwo days if i considure geting back in. Its really all up to how high i can get a 3 team now days as a boxer.

Fives has really long queues, as there is no real incentive to five-box arena anymore.
You used to get points equal to 100% of your five's rating, 60% of your three's rating or 40% of your two's rating.

Now you get points based on winning at least 'x' games in arena or rated battlegrounds.
And your rating determines your point cap for the week.

A lot of the active pvp players have their fives teams.
And run those in battleground and queue for fives.
But it is common to run a toon in 2's or 3's, to cap Conquest points for the week.

Yeah well,. i got quite high exp in arena soling, got 2k2 on my resto shammy as of this moment, and had 2k+ as feral. and working on my DK atm. I would say that i'm in the higher end of the pvp skilled ppl on my server. I wont even considure 5s as of the quees and the moeny it cost. 3s is my intrest basicly. i want to play alone with 3 chrs same class and i would need to see some proffs of ppl gaining 2k+ boxing in cata for me to be intrested in geting back into boxing. If not then i keep it as a good memery of the good old days when boxing was awsome hehe :P
