Found my first Wormhole
So I had about 1.5mil worth of unallocated skillpoints so I put them towards a buzzard with decent probing skills so I can scan out hidden asteroid belts during hulkageddon. First thing I found was a wormhole, so I entered, stealth and scanned around for a bit. Found a few sleeper cells but don't have to ships to mess with them yet. I found a really nice asteroid belt I was thinking about mining at but had a couple of questions. I found the wormhole in a .5 system about 11 jumps away from jita.
1. Will sleepers attack me randomly while I'm mining at this asteroid belt?
2. How likely is it that a player will find and gank me while I'm at this belt with 2 hulks and an orca?
3. How long do wormholes generally last and what happens if it collapses while you are in it?
ps. If anybody wants to join me let me know, the character I'm in the most is Repraiter.
Edit:
Ok, spend about an hour in there probing stuff, sleepers do randomly warp to the belts, in sets of 4 for this wormhole. Didn't engage them so I don't know how hard they hit. There were 5 really nice asteroid belts, 2 glass clouds and a bunch of cells of npcs. Turns out the wormhole closed while I was in there, took me an hour to probe out another wormhole that took me to a system 15 jumps away. So it was fun getting back. I think I might load my hulks into my orca, then go in with that and two ravens and see what happens. I might have to keep one in a raven for the rats. I'll keep you all updated if you want.

Make sure you've got a really good tank on the Orca, apparently Sleepers will switch targets even after you've picked up aggro so it's vital that everything that goes into a wormhole should be decently defended

Depending on the class of the Wormhole, i wouldnt recommend taking your Orca to the actual Grav or Ladar site without making sure its cleared. Approximately 20 to 30 minutes after spawning/loading grid on a scanned out anomoly sleepers will warp in. Once you kill those you will be ok til the anomaly despawns.
i generally either anchor and turn up a small tower in a wh; if im doing a mining raid and then leaving, or a medium/large tower if im staying for an extended period of time.
With the changes to the sleepers as of last major patch they now Neut your cap, so they did get significantly harder. Pre-Incursion, the hardest rats were the Sleepers, and they are still very hard (depending on the class of wormhole it is).
Sleepers have omni tanks, and also do omni damage. Your fits need to make sure they are fitted for omni damage. Also each class of WH has a different set limit on what can enter the hole. Getting info on the hole before entering is also a good thing to get use to as it will tell you if it was passed through and/or if its close to dieing.
I lived out of a hole for roughly 2 years prior to going to 0.0. Its a great thing if you can make peace with the unknown, as wormholes are truly a suprise when a fleet of several ships show up to gank you and you didnt see them coming.
Multiboxers excel in such a place however, as i had 2 recon pilots watching each entry point, or at least watching as many as i could.
Note: Make sure your directional scanner is up and you are clicking scan at max range in all directions ever few seconds, that will be your biggest ally in staying safe.
