No hots except some crappy totem. Earth shield is basically a smart hot but it can only be cast on one target.

You haven't got riptide yet, last talent in resto tree.

They also have healing rain @ lvl 85? which is an AOE heal.

However I wouldn't like to rely on a shaman to have to regularly heal more than just the tank.

For me earthshield + riptide on the tank is enough for trash and some bosses. However i'm using 3 x ele shaman, so I get multiple healing stream totems to help counter minor damage as well.

I really find chain heal crap, I have all four shaman cast it in an emergency.. but still find it lacks.

clicking on grid (which is underneath a repeater region) will make the shaman heal the right toon but it also makes the paladin change target to that toon. On the other groups thentank doesnt change targets, which is how i want it to work.

I'm going to speculate because I haven't tried this.

By default clicking on a player in the 'grid' will select them. So I assume you need to disable this.. this could be either the grid settings, or possibly using clique at a guess? I'm not sure though.
