Anyone out there pushing for more than 5 wins a week?

I find it very hard to motivate myself to push for higher ratings. I get my 5 wins and GTFO...
I know higher rating means more points per week but for some reason it doesn't feel like an incentive at all.
Eventually I will get all the gear, just like all the 2500+ teams. Except the T2 weapon...
Oh and yea, top #1 thing that keeps me out of arena, ****ING RING OF COCK ... uh i mean FROST ... and all those million instant freezes.

I'm talking about 5v5 btw.

I am pushing for 1500+, but i need better gear, so currently im 5 wins and then gtfo.

But i really want to get better gear soon... Takes a while though im using the crafted set now.

I'd like to get 2200 5v5 this season for T2 weapons, but it's not really a goal I invest a huge ammount of effort into. If it happens great, but if it doesn't it's not really a big deal to me. I'm only doing about 1-2 hours of games a week with a season high thus in the mid 1900s though it has tanked down to the 1700s due to experimenting with different lineups. Also i've been splitting my time between both of my teams (a set of casters and a set of melee)

I've run some rated BGs as well, they are definitly fun but I found success there to be extremely tough with a boxed team and a bit too time consuming for me to commit to seriously.

This is my third week since hitting 85, so I didn't really get a chance to play with a geared team before the HB nerf. But after getting full honor gear at the end of week two I was able to creep up to 1400, with a 25% win ratio. I was able to buy my weapons Tuesday, and proceeded to go 10-8... and a hair under 1600. This is where I finally ran into the ring of frost problem.

But all in all, I do find myself getting better, and keeping my pally alive longer. And I do find that opponents who recognize my iwt team can drastically take advantage of certain maps.

I tried the rated BGs and I found the same thing. Too hard for a boxer because we can't be in 2 places at the same time. If you run a flag you can't get the FC away from the bulk of the team so you get stuck in one place forever.

I made a 5v5 team and have only been in 2 games. Everytime I que for a game nothing happens. I played 2 games yesterday and then the next que I sat for 25mins and said screw this. Right now I really enjoy playing 2v2 because the que is 1min for a game. Today I plan on making a 3v3 to see how the que is. If 5's will never pop I will just focus on the 2's.

I wont do serious 5s this season with shamans because, hell that specc is far to weak, I mean at the beginning of the season it was an easy ride to 2k, a few weeks later I played down to 1900 and since 4.0.6 I cant even holde the 1800 mark, since everyone got max pvp gear and 30-40% dmg reduce, if I do a perfect nuke, even the worst players can react fast enough to klick their wall/block/whatever
did 2.2k on a toon with 31 games only so yeah ... gonna play my toons solo again

my quad dk team is almost 85 so I'm hoping for a 5v5 multibox comeback (2.2k) soon
