    I would wait for the new [fixed] Sandy Bridge stuff, it's better than 1366. If you're adamant about sticking with 1366 then go with
    12GB or RAM as 6GB is hardly enough. The 460 GTX is old news now, 560 Ti replaces it. If you're adamant [there's that word
    again] about sticking with the 460 for price, at least get the 1GB version of the card, it's much better.

    As always, don't run SLI while multiboxing -- multiple cards are only useful if you play other games with SLI or if you're going to be
    hooking up more than 2 monitors. If you're only building this for multiboxing WoW then I'd suggest go wtih one big mother-of-a-
    card and get the 570 GTX or even the, ever-so-sexy, 580 GTX. [/NVidia fanboy]

    for the ram i'm getting 6 sticks at 2 gig each, the mobo has 6 friggen slots on it so that will put me up at 12 gigs.
    And yes this will be used for multiboxing mainly so i'll swap the 460 out and take a look at the 570 or 580, i am also a nvidia fanboy, have had nothing but luck with those cards.

    Thanks for the post

    Edit: Swapped out video card for 570 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127552

    Ram prices is dirt cheap right now (like 10 bucks a gig lol) no reason to not get 3X4G (4G is better then 2G chips as you might want to go to 24G later and price difference isn't much).

    Ya SLI no good for wow.

    Processor OK, MB OK but as stated sandy bridge better.

    As stated above 1G min on video card.

    Need a SSD.

    when it gets to mobo and processors i've got a general idea of what matches with what, but just to make sure i'm looking at this correctly, will this mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128423 GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard work with these processors: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-070-_-Product Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K

    1366 = 1366
    1155 = 1155
    1366 ≠ 1155
