0-1500 is 1343, I said 1500+ since you will start getting more than the standard 1343 once you pass 1500.
-Five arena wins maxes you out for the week or three rated bg wins maxes you out.
You only need 1 game per week to keep your cap for the week, I would be safe and go with 1 win since some people have had this bug on them.
Confusing as shit I know. AJ has a good guide on it for anyone who wishes to understand a bit more.

It's funny I looked at some website that showed 5v5 activity and Kil'jaeden's BG was listed as highest. I routinely wait 30 mins for a battle and it's not like you can do anything but farm during that...
