My typical day in EVE varied based on what was going on ingame/corp/alliance.
Starting point from when i was a n00bie, it really consisted of exploring, learning the game, doing missions, mining, which i was doing in subpar fashion in all aspects being so new to the game.
Current time, its usually i log in, i see if we are being attacked/invaded/cloaky campers/general security situation of my immediate area, in the 0.0 (null-sec) space of the game. Then decided generally from the following, Mine to make more ships and mods to sell, Run anomalies for more money, run back to Empire (0.4 - 1.0 security space) with my jump freighter to pick up supplies/POS fuel, and/or part take in some ganking pvp or blob warfare.
The game really boils down to isk and pvp really in the end. Even being a manufacturer like myself, you need isk and pvp/mission runners loosing things in order to sell more products.
The game is very political in the player ran space, i miss empire from time to time.
I have been in eve since 2003, playing off and on up to last year, then i played solid through 2010 due to leaving wow.
Unlike most normal MMOs. certain gear/mods you use from the beginning can take you a long way, even into pvp and still be ok.
