Ok, went and did this real quick. I haven't run it for a while, so it was new for me.

Anyway, I am leveling some new horde characters so I took them here. Springvale went down on the first attempt. definitely harder in his room, but doable. I copied the strategy I saw a guild use on youtube during beta. I forgot to fraps it, but at least got a screen shot so you can see positioning.

Team is in 345 to 352 gear. Had a priest, pally tank, BM hunter (yeah I know BM, but he does good dps), druid and lock. No Shaman or Mage in this group, so no heroism buff and was still able to get him down. DPS was at 10kish and the pally was around 7.5kish for this fight.

    1. Go in the room and turn right.
    2. Have your guys with their backs to the stairs.
    3. Pull the boss and at the same time back your guys up in the corner to the bottom of the stairs. See the screenshot.
    4. Tank him near the doors so you can grab the adds as they come in.
    5. Try to move prior to him casting his dk aoe on the floor and you can avoid this totally.
    6. Kill the adds as fast as you can and keep healing your team. Prayer of Healing, Circle of Healing and Radiance were able to keep everyone at pretty close to full health.

He was harder this way, but not too bad. You just got used to the other way. Do it this way a few times and he will be cake.
