    Default Commander Spingvale Buff?

I never had a problem with this guy until now. Did they buff this guy or something? He hits for 30k and spamming heals with heroism is not enough to live. If he puts word of shame on your healer its over. I cannot heal the tank and the healer up. Post your results for this guy now that the patch has hit.

After futher research its no longer possible to kite him to the court yard. Skip his ass unless you feel like doing him. 1000g repairs woot!

If you pull him the the courtyard he hits like a truck. Good thing you can skip him. The last boss with the random Pistol thing now is sort of a pain in the ass. The best way to do it is keep everyone on follow and run through him when he does it. There is a bug with it though. At the last second he will turn around while shooting the pistol cone and hit your group so make sure you are not low health.

Ugh. Glad I got a couple of mail chest drops off Springvail while I could. Fortunately, the rest of his drops are trash. Guess I'll be skipping his sorry butt.

Ok, went and did this real quick. I haven't run it for a while, so it was new for me.

Anyway, I am leveling some new horde characters so I took them here. Springvale went down on the first attempt. definitely harder in his room, but doable. I copied the strategy I saw a guild use on youtube during beta. I forgot to fraps it, but at least got a screen shot so you can see positioning.

Team is in 345 to 352 gear. Had a priest, pally tank, BM hunter (yeah I know BM, but he does good dps), druid and lock. No Shaman or Mage in this group, so no heroism buff and was still able to get him down. DPS was at 10kish and the pally was around 7.5kish for this fight.

    1. Go in the room and turn right.
    2. Have your guys with their backs to the stairs.
    3. Pull the boss and at the same time back your guys up in the corner to the bottom of the stairs. See the screenshot.
    4. Tank him near the doors so you can grab the adds as they come in.
    5. Try to move prior to him casting his dk aoe on the floor and you can avoid this totally.
    6. Kill the adds as fast as you can and keep healing your team. Prayer of Healing, Circle of Healing and Radiance were able to keep everyone at pretty close to full health.

He was harder this way, but not too bad. You just got used to the other way. Do it this way a few times and he will be cake.

Just kill the adds and then him... tank him on the top of the stairs in the hallway. That's how I've been doing him since SFK was out. Use some form of shadow resist and you should be fine.

If you have a toon that has some sort of speed buff (Holy Priest, Mage, Rogue, Feral Druid). Park your team at the courtyard at the start of the instance, pull him and run like hell. Have your tank ready to pick him up + adds. You'll only get the 2 adds that stand with him, you don't get the other adds.

That does not work. They buffed him if you pull him to the courtyard. He starts hitting like a truck if you do this and will eventually kill you in no time.
