    Talking Thank you Zugdud & Mokoi - click healing

    Zugdud,

    Thanks SOOO much for posting your heroic melee video. Your video and the arena video with the four DKs inspired me to try click healing. Oh my god it is so amazing.

    Thanks for telling us the addons you use to heal. Namely:

    Clique
    Grid
    GridCustomLayouts (had to search Google for this one)
    GridManaBars

    I had tried Vuhdo before but there were about five million too many options. I wanted something uncluttered without setting a zillion things I wasn't sure about. I just made Grid pretty big and killed all the party frames by entering all this in the chat window one line at a time:

    /script PlayerFrame:SetScript("OnEvent", nil);
    /script PlayerFrame:Hide();
    /script HidePartyFrame() ;

    Then I used isboxer to make a click region over the grid box. I passed the clicks to window 5 (my druid on the party I first set this up on). I'll have to change that to an ATG but right now I'm so thrilled this works. It's like magic.

    Thanks!!!!

    Now I can do instances SOOO much easier!

    UPDATE: the party frames keep coming back when I die or take a flightpoint. Any way to keep them off?

    Awesome! I went with healbot, but being new to WoW also, and a gazillion addons and learning the classes properly, I could use something easier. Will try Grid + Clique which many posts have mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

    You may be able to kill party frames with Addon Control Panel. All the Blizzard Addons are at the very bottom of the list.
    Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"
