    Default Interrupts, approaches?

First of all, is anyone running any mods that tell them when/which toon has successfully interrupted? It seems like there might be an arena mod that would do this. Instead I simply have my characters say when they TRY to interrupt, which is suboptimal as I tend to just spam the key.

Obviously if all of your interrupts are the same class then this question becomes much simpler, but right now I'm running only mixed groups.

I have a boomkin (solar beam is nice), an arcane mage with improved counterspell, a frost mage, and my prot paladin. (I seldom use avengers shield as an interrupt, except on pull).

On my second team I have a shammy.

Right now I have interrupt on round robin, but the druid silence seems to go off only sporadically (range?), so as I said, I tend to spam the key, thus defeating the entire round robin tactic.

I just feel there must be a more organized way to handle interrupts, how do you handle them?

Well there is ISBoxer. It has lots of features that can rotate which slave interrupts. Basically you can spam that one key and it send the key first to window 2, press it again sends it to window 3, etc... Down the line until it goes back to the first window.

There's some add-ons out there, but I've been on a WOW hiatus and not sure which ones are up to date. Deadly Boss Mobs also known as DBM was one I use to use.

I'm using isboxer, and round robin. I'm just feeling like my solutions are suboptimal because of the different classes having different ranges (I think) and I want to know when I spam my key who actually succeeded in doing the interrupt.

you could use rsa spell announcer addon, you could set on a per character base an interrupt that it has to /say or write to a special chat channel (party, raid, w/e) when its successfully cast

Well thats something you give up when you play multiple classes.

Best you can do is IsBoxer round robin using the cool down and range of the longest cool down spell and the range of the shortest spell. Far from optimium to be sure.

You choose spells first then once you have settled on the spells you prioritize you take the classes that have them.

You could make a longer round robin and the spell with the longest cool down fires one time vs. two times for the others. Not much you can do about range though except simply not use that spell and take it out of the rotation.

Multi classes have much advantage but this is for sure their disadvantage.
