It is pretty odd seeing the contortions people go through to try and tell the people responsible for interpreting and enforcing the TOS that they are wrong. My niece used to try and do the same thing with me when I babysat her and would put her to bed - she'd come up with any possible reason to stay up. It's something kids do, no biggie.

What I have noticed is that lately I'm getting a LOT of questions from people about how to box - or how I box - I don't know if it's because they genuinely want to know, or they want to figure out the weaknesses or what - but I point em to this site and my blog, and they generally are pretty friendly... Just a few people getting butthurt in PvP I guess.

PVP creates 99% of the forum anger. Hell, PVP griefing of some sort or another probably accounts for better than 50% of the anger directed at Blizzard.

The people who try to "educate" Blizzard on its own rules are both very funny and the most frustrating, because they are usually the kind that absolutely refuse to accept logic. Since they are starting from a point of "I decide how the world works, not you," they are immune to pretty much anything that requires people to think and use a bit of intelligence. It's botting because they said so. No one can tell them that it isn't automation. Blizzard doesn't read its own TOS, so if I read it to them they'll realize I'm right. So on and so forth. They are the most thick-headed of the bunch, and pretty proud of it. They're the ones who say things like "I don't care what Blizzard says, it's cheating!" As if we're supposed to take the word of some random dickhead who who woke up with a god complex

The only thing to do with someone like that is to ignore him. Or for fun, provoke him until you get tired.

A new thread on the US forum. The OP took a relatively benign approach and so the thread isn't a flame fest, although there are already three or four "LOL DEY GETS MORE MONEY" posts (including the old reliable "I don't care what anyone says, this is the truth of the matter"). Since the OP was trying to get a straight answer (or at least acting like it) I gave him one. And took a mild dig at the "NO BLIZZARD ARE WRONG" people before they even got started, in the hopes that it pisses off a few of them.

Good lord some people need to learn how to use google. Its the same dam thread over and over and over again. And the OP always starts with "I know this has been talked about before" or "I know that blizzard allows multiboxing, but..."

The more qq threads, the more people 'll become aware that it's legal and the more 'official' responses can be use as proof to educate even more people.
