I actually think this is the guy I killed today.
I run a disc priest and four frost Dks and I got my first ever kill in netherstorm, on the day that he made the post.
Not only that the guy came on an alliance alt and started to tell me his mind. =P He wasn't happy and then apparantly reported me.

The forums would be about as populous as the Sahara Desert. XD I am pretty positive it is the guy I killed, his character is also on the same server. Defias Brotherhood EU.
It is not like I camped him either.
I killed him ONCE. And mainly so I could get the achive XD

What i really have a hard time to understand is how people compare multiboxing to botting and automation?

If i bot i can go away for unlimited time and my character/s will keep playing. Hell i can take that 3 week vacation at Bahamas and they still go.

If i multibox, there is NO WAY in hell that i can even leave for 1 second because then my character/s won't do a damn thing, aka it requires me to actually PUSH the keys.

How is that automation in any way and furthermor, how can people compare that to botting?

Cannot post to the thread, as it is EU and my games are all US accounts.

Wanted to mention something about how I'd rather my politicians deal with more important issues than making laws in relation to a video game; original poster wanted it to be illegal to multibox, which of course implies a state/federal law and not whether a gaming company lets you play multiple accounts or not.

Looks like his main complaint is "someone ganked me, Blizzard fix world PVP." He may think he made a post about multiboxing, but his real gripe is that he got ganked. He's the same type of person who screeches when his level 30 warrior gets griefed by a bored level 85. Blizzard's reply to that problem, even today, is basically "suck it up and/or find people to help, we're not changing the rules."

Look at his second post:

He quoted it later for emphasis. He gets really upset at people telling him "you got ganked, deal with it." Once people are on to him, he insists that it's not about being ganked, but his early posts make it pretty clear that he's pissed about the gank more than anything.

None of the arguments are anything new. If I had access to the EU forums I'd be poking him with a pretty sharp stick for as long as I could get away with it.

Edit to add: this link to a blue post needs to be added to the list of links given to people who complain that "it's one person, not five people." The blue gives a pretty clear statement of where Blizzard stands on the issue:

The thing is, you cannot see this as 1 person, you have to see this as 5 characters. Regardless of who is controlling them or how they are being controlled, it is still 5 characters. The same 5 characters you may meet at any time, in any place in the World of Warcraft. Maybe those 5 characters are being controlled by one person, or three people, or five people. It's still the same 5 characters with their same strengths and weaknesses, same spell combinations and talents. If you met 5 Death Knights in a Battleground on your own, I'm afraid that you won't last very long (unless you are one thousand three hundred and thirty seven). If you met 5 Death Knights in a Battleground with 4 other characters, then it's going to be an interesting fight!

The emphasis is on the characters battling against these 5 to find a way to bring them down.

The fact that they are allegedly being controlled by 1 single human being is irrelevant when playing in a game like this as they gain no advantage at all over other characters, if anything they are at a slight disadvantage. As one person mentioned in this thread already, if we took action on multi-boxers then we would have to take action on all coordinated groups of players because they have an unfair advantage over the smaller (perhaps uncoordinated) groups of players they meet in their travels.
