    Default Everquest 2 Issues

Just wanted to know if anyone has had any success at all playing EQ2 with multiple clients on a single PC and being able to send keystrokes to both clients at the same time. I can't seem to get AHK to work at all, although my programming skills are limited. Having spend hours perusing several forums I can't seem to find anyone that has made this work. It seems eq2 blocks keystrokes sent from external applications or something. Just was hoping to see if anyone had any success at all with Everquest 2. I'm hoping to work with Rob @ keyclone tonight to see what sort of success we can get using it. Was kind of just looking for some community insight here or maybe some people that have tried this.

So it seems everquest 2 is specificly programmed to not allow keystrokes to be recieved unless the window is in the foreground

IE, no broadcasting across a single pc. That is unless Rob@keyclone can figured something out.

AHK won't work and i haven't gotten Keyclone to work either.

The only thing that has worked is Synergy with broadcasting as well as using wireless keyboards and mice using the same keyboard and mouse.

Keyclone will work if you use innerspace, although that is not recommended as it's a bannable program.

but just figured i'd throw that out there

Innerspace does let you do quite a bit with DX programs.

But it was one of the two programs that got hit with the ban hammer (the other being glider) quite recently, despite efforts to "cloak" Innerspace from the warden.

I don't suggest using it if you want to play for long periods of time and not get banned.

Theres really no reason to use it with WOW unless you want to bot. So i can see why they slapped it with the ban hammer.

EQ2 is another story, there is no way to broadcast to multiple windows on the same pc without it. At least that I'm aware of...

edit: not that im saying it's not bannable or anything. kinda came across that way. Nor am i trying to justify using it as I'm in no way shape or form "pro bots" or anything like that. I wish there a was a piece of software to wrap around the EXE like innerspace does but without al the botting capabilities so i could at least 2 box on 1 pc and still broadcast to both windows. Hoping Rob@Keyclone can help me out with this with a separate application and not tied into keyclone as not to put it on the ban list...

Innerspace didn't get hit with a ban wave recently, this is completely untrue. As far as automated methods of detecting innerspace, there is nothing Client-side which can be entered into Warden without the Innerspace user knowing. There have been a few bans (maybe at most 5 a month) for the last few months since February, these usually come from people being reported by Players, or observed by GMs. As far as cloaking Innerspace, It is completely cloaked from Warden, any new version of Warden gets uploaded and Innerspace (and WoW) shut down.

Interesting. I retract my previous statement in light of this new development until I can research it further. I KNOW Glider got hit hard - it does not wrap the exe the way Innerspace does though..... and it is obviously more popular and thus more likely to attract the "script kiddie" audience who just wants to LOL OMG AUTO LEVELING.

A few Innerspace botters did get banned in the "banwave" along with all the Gliders, this is most likely down to the type of Bot they were using and the repetitive nature of said bots. Warden isn't Blizzard's only method of detection, they have server based detection as well (Sentinel) which noone really seems to know very much about at all.

Edit: I take it back, Innerspace did get hit with a banwave.
