I'm at the point with my deathknights that all there is to do is arena at the moment. I'm not heavily interested in investing the time into that at the moment as well... que times are over 30 mins per. As such I sorta have not really been interested in playing the game much as there really isn't much to do. Seeing as i have over 2 million gold at the moment on my current server there is no reason what so ever to make gold which is part of what i love about this game. Basically as it stands this game is simply not fun and as i've spent quite a bit of time on it I don't just want it to be a "sunk cost."

I started multi-boxing with mages and enjoyed them a lot back in late 2007 during BC. Mage has always been tied as my favorite wow class along with a rogue. As such i feel that if i'm going on my last leg for the game I'm going to do it playing the class i enjoy most and doing what i love most...making gold.

Since the old world has changed i am going to play on my friend's server to give the game one last harrah. I am not using recruit a friend so i can get the FULL experience. Also i am going to be attempting to make the most gold possible in 1 month when i hit 85. I am being given nothing... no help whatsoever. No bags, no gold, nothing. A completely fresh start.

Instances really are not a solid option as to making gold and i don't like having to rely on my daily cooldown army to make gold (though i will still be doing it daily on my other server, 30 days = 300k ish) so i'm going to get one of every profession and then see how much gold that i can make using my brain and farming techniques. Pretty simple stuff. I am NOT going to abuse trash drops in raids.

I plan on just doing what i love. Using my last 4 months of game time to challenge myself and experience all this expansion has to offer in the process.

I don't think i will be posting here much anymore, i have a lot of crap going on in real life with school and other personal things. So although this is not a farewell post... it basically is.

So for those of you who care i will probably update my progress once a week. I'm going to write down every strategy i use for making my gold which will be compiled as a farewell gift to the community as my game time runs out... because unless some miracle happens i will be quitting when it does.
