In Deepholm just last week. Me = (4) Bloodelf Priests. (3) shadow and (1) holy..

Minding my own business, questing, a 5 boxer Pally set drops in on me, and starts going to town. I admit, I had a hard time keeping everyone alive, and soon realized this was either going to take a while, or, else Id run out of mana. I had a little time to locate his leader. Cast Mind control from all 4... (He cant stop ALL of me), and threw his ass off the edge of the cliff we were on. The other 4 Pallies just stood there a sec. I could see him pick a new one to lead. Rinse, repeat 2 more times, until he had just 2 left.

    /Pally bubble, and run.

I let him go. He got the point.

Couple, one where I was stupid, one where they were really stupid. I first got to Ramakhen or whatever it is on my shaman team, a druid (85) kept following me through town, so I insta flameshock/LvB and nearly killed him. He hauls ass outside doing what druids do, healing and running. Almost get him...almost dead...five guards pretty much barbeque me in a second. I'm sure he had a good laugh on that one.

Another, an 81 or so hunter decides to engage my DK when I was on my PvE team (DK 82, the rest 80). I guess he didn't see the 4 decently geared 80s behind me. He died several times before giving up and flying off. Don't know why he kept attacking my DK and ignoring the chain of DPS and holy pally behind me.

I'm actually an anti-ganker. While leveling my 4shammy/pally team in Cata I would run across gankers jumping horde all the time. Instead of killing the ganker, I 4xchain healed the hordie. Haha, fun times.

Crucible of Carnage brings out a lot of dead heroes. This is the latest, but there have been a few times when LoB members are present helping folks with the chain when horde think, "Oh wow! Free kills!" yeah not so much.

I was on my mage the other day in a random group working on the quest chain. A druid and a DK decide to gank us while we kill the bosses. Myself and another mage roast the two, repeatedly. They tried to get us each boss. Each time they died and there was barely a hiccup in the encounter. B+ for effort, D- for execution.

I have to say the stupidest was a couple of weeks ago doing the quest mob in the keep in Tol Barad. I hate how people generally don't wait the turns in which they come for these quest mobs so I will quite often drop an Army of the Dead to quickly tag the mob when its my turn. This was my last quest for the day so I dropped all 4 in this case.

So I am standing in the room waiting for the mob to spawn, my priest, 4 DKs and 40 ghouls. This tauren turns up solo, unflagged. Now I don't even know if he attacked one of my toons or just flagged but he literally went red one second then died as the ghouls mobbed him. Funniest thing I've ever seen. I didn't even have time to cast anything or attack in anyway before the ghouls killed the poor bugger.

If you are same faction you can tag the mob with the person and it counts for both people. Includes lootable items like the Archmage Staff, so it's not really a case of waiting...Unless it's another faction of course and then it's mob/node steal at all costs to keep the feud alive. I particularly enjoy training a group of mobs onto a guy dropping an AoE trying to get at a mining/herb node. But then again, I dislike the hordes....

But Tol Barad makes for some hilarious fights.
A buddy of mine got ganked by 5 hordies a combination of 3 pallies a rogue and a feral druid in Tol Barad while doing dailies, since another friend and I were in the area we showed up. So 2 boomkins and 1 arms warrior ...We proceeded to kill all 5 repeatedly they even had a hunter from their guild show up to help...

After getting roflstomped for about 7 or 8 kills (Non pvp so why they didn't just hang out at the GY and stop rushing in at us...) each the better geared prot pally decides to log on an ally and proceed with tell taunts of how we won't 1v1 him and why we root and run instead of standing there to let him melee us... This from the guy who figured that 6v3 was completely fair or the fact that apparently a bum rush of bodies means people will eventually die? *Boggle* Bad players are bad...

That's when you know that they are angry and embarrassed. A lot of players who get smacked around in PVP understand that is how it goes sometimes, so they take their lumps and have fun with it. The players that log on an alt to talk smack are the ones that forgot that it's a game and won't be able to sleep that night. Those are always the most satisfying ones.

QFT. The best of these are in cross realm BGs when you get people from other realms making lvl 1s to do it.

Drizhal the mobs I'm referring to are on the neutral Tol Barad island. No actual loot from them and last week when I did the quest only one group or person could tag them still. I think the change to the mini dungeon bosses in TB being lootable by all was a very reasonable one by Blizz for a change :P
