what race is good for 4DK?

Hi Friends,

I am going to build up a team with 1 pal with 4 DK.
I will choose human for the pal, but not sure which race is the best choice for DK.
Human or wolfman? Any suggestions?

Human, trinket, rep bonus, do they still get the weapon bonuses?

If you're going PvP, probably human is the mechanically superior choice.
Draenei will get their racial heal, which is supposed to be 20% of health rather than the static amount.. so that is a PvP consideration too.

For a PvE focus...
Draenei get 1% hit, and the healing ability.

Worgen get 1% crit, and extra movement.
Although, unless the Pally is going Worgen too, you'll not be able to use it often unless you're ok leaving the pally behind of the party.

Keep in mind that the PVPtrinket does give 300 resilience and it's still a nice trinket + resilience buff. As human, the trinket becomes obsolete, so you need other ways to boost your resilience.

For pure offense, like soloplay warriors it's definitely nice to have double offensive trinkets. But for boxers I'm not convinced.

The price for race change is $25 right ? How about faction change $30 ? I am thinking about moving to alliance side for my DKs, and possibly staying on the same server (using netural AH to xfer items). and doing world pvp against the hordes since I can track them down with my main dk + rets team. Possibly play more AH.

Frostwolf is extremely 1 sided as horde to alliance ratio is like 10:1. So the Alliance side's AH is way easier to manipulate.

You can transfer a very sizable amount of gold, on a maximum level character.
Along with a lot of items, in your bags and such.

The neutral AH will either take 15% of the final sales value, or must be watched very carefully to ensure no one snipes your auctions if you list them for virtually nothing; the listing fee is immaterial, as it is refunded if the item sells -- which it will every time, when you are transferring items to yourself.
Not sure if it was changed in Cataclysm, but in WotLK there were four neutral auctioneers in the game: Two in Booty Bay (downstairs in the house by the half boat + by the bank), one in Gadgetzan (only building that goes underground), and one in Winterspring (basically across from the inn).

Gotta guard all of those AH to make sure I am the only one nearing auctioneers. When I xfer, I would be xfering something like a darkmoon deck for maximum profit. If that gets sniped, needless to say, I am screwed.

After two race changes for my team I've settled on Gnome. I think that they are mechanically superior to Humans for the simple fact that Roots and Snares is what kills this team. The 300 resilience you get from the trinket slot is far more important for PvP than the extra DPS stats you get being Human--No, I'm not happy that Gnomes are best but de facts iz wat dey iz.

PvE? Dwarf or Human (weap bonus(mace) vs rep + weap bonus(mace and swords?))

I was going to ask the same question myself. I'm joining the DK bandwagon.

However, I play horde. So which horde race would make the best DK?

I was thinking Goblins, with their rocket attack and rocket jump. Perhaps Orcs since they are resistant to stuns.

Maybe even Blood Elfs due to their AoE silence?
