    Default Suggestions on leveling 4x Paladin(lvls 67)?

    Hello everybody..

I am making this post as i'm relatively new to multiboxing higher levels, I've always messed around on low levels here and there, And this is my first "high" level group, Which is made up of 4 Prot Paladins, or 5 Prot Paladins, I usually do 4 Paladins for the ability to pug in a friend or guild member for Battlegrounds / Instances.

Although, Even with 5 Prot Paladins and a key on all the toons to Word of Glory( 3 charges of holy power) on the MT, I do extremely well and have managed to clear all the instances up to level 65ish, Minus Quagmirran<--Name? Of Slave Pens i believe, The guy in the water at the end of the instance, his AOE slime spray owns my melee group of Paladins.

So, To get to the question i would like to ask.....

What is a good flow of experience at level 67? Minus questing, I have the ability to boost my 4 Paladins ( Dual specc'd Holy and Prot on each ) through instances, AOE areas, etc, with a Death knight, Warrior, or a Warlock, all 85.

I've actually gone from 66 - 67 boosting with my warlock(Metamorphosis spells + Moving Hellfire = gg) in Sethekk Halls if i remember correctly - Reason i stopped at 67 was so i could jump into Utgarde Keep via the zoning in portal and boost that way with my Warlock.

I've tried using the instant respawn mobs outside of Valgarde Port for a easy grinding method, But i only get roughly 280 - 300 experience per kill, Even though they are instant respawn and keep spawning and moving to the side entrance of Valgarde with the barriers(guards that can't kill them quick enough)..The spot really doensn't yield alot of exp, Regardless of the never ending flow of mobs(280-300 exp ish)..

If you've missed my overall question, It is...

What is a good effective way of leveling x4 Prot Paladins(Alliance) on a PvE server. They are currently level 67 and a half ish, I would like to get them to 80 as soon as possible, As i just bought my Cataclysm upgrades x4.

Thank you for reading my thread and i look forward to everyones suggestions.

Definitely get a titan-xp or xptolevel type addon and see what your xp earnings are. If for example someone says 'aoe grind xyz' and you tried that, you might be sub par and better off farming Cyrpts or Tombs instead.

There is a TBC tourguide someone here developed that will take you through just the kill/escort/group loot quests to 68. I think tek has it as well.

I just got one mixed team to 70 and my next team is at 67/68. I just did all the quests in outlands that didnt involve gathering. I cant answer the boosting part except to say im boosting a couple much lower toons and find it mind numbingly boring. Im doing it because its the only way i can fill out a fifth account for free. You dont have to boost since you have a viable group to quest and instance with. Other people can answer this: at what level does boosting with an 85 start taking nearly as much time as it does to level the regular ways.

You can either quest, do instances, boost, or grind. After 60 isnt it pretty much a progression directed by the game? You dont have to wonder Now where do i go after you leave the original continents.

My plan for my teams is to quest and only do instances when i have quests for them. I'm looking forward to seeing what more experienced people have to say.

With a group of pallys you're best off going with 1 prot 3 ret, as divine storm heals lots still and is on a much lesser cooldown than it ussed to be, and you can still use word of glory to heal too.

I can't speak for alliance side as I'm horde, but what I did was all of borean tundra and most of dragonspite, with my boa gear it went pretty quick and I mixed in some instance runs with it to even things out. IMO grinding out quests is the best thing to do, it gets you good xp per hour with your boa gear AND money /greens to sell or use. Questing since the release of boa gear has been the most efficient for me

Alright, I've finally read everyones replies and would like to thank you all, I'm going to give a 1 Prot x3 Ret group setup a try, Now that i'm 69 on all of them and see how well Utgarde Keep goes with a pugged healer.

    Thanks everybody.

So i've realized, I'm probably doing something wrong - My x4 Prot Paladin's group seem to be more effective than 1x Prot 3x Ret, With a pugged healer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have Jamba set up to display procs on AoW for instant Exorcism, But i don't know any other way to keep them on a steady rotation ( the ret paladins )..Any suggestions / advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I would stick with prot x4. You should be unkillable. My 70 paladin is the highest dps toon in my paladin/mage/lock/sham/priest group. All those shields flying will be great.

Yeah, I'm working on setting up ISBoxer, I'm having some serious trouble though. I've been using keyclone for the longest time.

What kind of issues are you having?
What would you like to do with IS Boxer, that you cannot figure out?
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Ive never played ret paladins. I read they have lots of procs to manage, like a warrior. If npt taking advantage of procs is your dps issue, you could make a multi-step key that basically cycles through every proc as you spam your dps key whether theyre active or not.
