Default When using ISBoxer, why bother with bartender anymore?

So in reading the interesting discussion about 2 step macros, and doing all your macro generation within ISBoxer, it stuck me that I have no need for bartender anymore.

I suppose that I do like to have a icon(s) on the bar so I can see the next spells in the castsequence. I suppose it is worth it for that reason. But boy I like using ISBoxer to edit my macros and being able to see all macros for all chars/specs at once.

    hmmmm......positives and negatives :-)

I have all my macros (except Pull - it changes too much) within ISBoxer. I do still run Macaroon for custom bars.

I use them mostly for cooldown indicators and things like quest item clickies and stances. Basically anything I use rarely, or out of combat.

I don't understand why you would use bartender for anything macro related anyway?

I used it because I do not like the default wow frame and prefer Bartender's bars. Flexibility etc. Can't thing of a second reason why someone would use it? Maybe more bars?

I prefer Dominos over Bartender, but it's all the same. I use an Action Bar addon for the same reason as Littleburst and
many others, I don't like the default WoW UI... simple as that.

I started using it for macro keybinding. But I never though much beyond that. All of your points are good ones, I guess there are plenty of reasons to use it above and beyond.

What exactly does bartender allow you to do with Macro's that the default frame doesn't? Because I'm not following you on that one.

At the time I needed to see the keybinding on the button so I could remember what to press. :-)

I'm just starting on my ISboxer setup and I'm coming over from keyclone.

I switched to ISBoxer mainly for the IWT features to dual box melee characters, and for mouse broadcasting for aoe.

I have a large number of in-game macros setup on my various characters (all different classes)

Is there any benefit to using the ISboxer macro setup rather than just using the onesI have already in-game from my keyclone days? Other than to save screen space?

What about importing my existing macros from my WTF file and assigning them to character sets?

Does allow you to extend the 255 char limit? It has been so long since I've loaded BT that I don't recall offhand.

I use IsBoxer for 95 percent of my macros but I still use dominos (macaroon was better but its not updated timly I thinks) cause sometimes I might want to really fast set up a macro ingame or move a spicific spell onto a key or maybe a drink. I don't think I even know how the default UI works anymore lol .... dosn't it waste a lot of space?

As soon as IsBoxer 38 is stable with the round robin Ill rewrite everything from scratch using the two step method, nothing else comes close.
