No way you going to heal through 5 felguards and all the damage that locks dish out. I'm sure you will kill one of them but I don't see this going well for shaman or boomkins.
The whole issue is cleave vs single target damage.
Assuming you don't close to melee, they either charge you or you exchange spells at range.
The felguards will close the distance either way.
Which means you have to deal with their cleave type spinning axe attack on your team.
DPSing the pet is probably not a good idea, as they will be healed as the warlocks DPS you down.
A felguard team (demo spec) will not have Shadowfury to stun you.
I would take 5x Hurricane + 5x Starfall over 5x Rain of Fire, but the Felguards will interrupt you some.
If you are in melee range, the warlocks have a huge edge.
Add in Immolation Aura and Hellfire to the mix.
Shammies could add 5x Fire Elementals and a resistance totem.
The big drawback to Hellfire is that it hurts the Warlocks too.
Anyway, my kitties did not like the mean warlocks.

5x healing rain will negate felstorm. You have groundings to stop lock spells and knock backs to get them away. As well as chain heal + single target. Then you can earthquake or magma + single target burst down the locks.
I know they will immo aura and hellfire but that is why you have resist totems knock backs healing stream and healing rain. I also believe wind shear will stop hellfire even though they can cast and move.
At low pvp gear lvls ya you are fucked. Didn't mean to derail the thread
Keep on updating how you are doing with the wild pussy team.

wild pussy team, lol....
Feral Cat... It was a stretch but I thought I could make it work for the lols.
I've been boxing 3 locks for PvP purposes as an introduction to boxing (along with 6 other sets of toons for PvE) and I must say I haven't had this much fun in WoW for a long long time.
I had them as demo but switched to aff to attempt a strategy that I saw a horde boxer doing a long time ago.
He had 5 aff locks and would sit behind the alliance GY and simply DoT everything that spawned with 15-20 DoTS whilst his team would run the flag back and forth.
I ran across another 5 boxer destro lock in IoC doing much the same thing. The Alliance had allowed horde to knock down their wall and cap their GY in their keep, then they ran out from their bosses room and farmed them in the GY with shadowfury and 5 x reign of fire, it was a slaughter.
I think if you're looking for maximum impact in a BG and for almost invulnerability, even against the genius of other boxers, warlocks are the class to go for.
I don't respect you any less for losing to him...just go for the other 35 members of the enemy team next time :P
And yes, Kromtor hit the nail on the head with his 'anti-fear berserk' comment
