Default Massive FPS drops upon typing/moving cursor

    Hello.

I purchased ISBoxer today and unfortunately after eagerly configuring it guided by couple videos I'm having massive FPS drops.
Also tried quick wizard as suggested in IRC but still a no go, even with a single client while ISBoxer running.

It can't be specs because everything ran very smoothly on Keyclone and I'm not having any kind of issues whatsoever while running WoW on a single client without Keyclone/ISBoxer.

    16:07:45 Tornius • are you using DX11?
    16:07:49 Leettari • nop
    16:07:59 Tornius • dualGPU?
    16:08:17 Leettari • nop
16:12:10 Tornius • ok just a quick thought... have you changed the video settings since logging in on ISBoxer?
16:14:37 Leettari • you could be on to something, while making regions and exporting all to inner space ISBoxer insisted to do some changes, because apparently the resolution in ISBoxer differs from WoW's WTFs
16:15:02 Tornius • yeah, you clicked yes?
16:15:06 Leettari • other than that i haven't change resolution/video settings in-game nor ISBoxer as far as im concerned
    16:15:14 Leettari • yes
16:15:34 Tornius • export it again now and see if anything pops up
16:16:14 Leettari • i've exported it quite few times after them messages and now it just let me through at once
16:16:55 Tornius • go into wow GFX settings while on ISBoxer, and see if there is any settings that are on ultra ect you dont normaly have
    16:19:35 Leettari • nope
16:20:24 Leettari • messages mainly regarded wow having foreground and background fps settings enabled and ISBoxer wanted to do something about it because I had configured my own foreground and background fps settings on ISBoxer

This makes me a sad panda truly, there I was thinking I could get ISBoxer to work in one afternoon.

"Massive FPS drop" means nothing, if you can quantify that it would help rule out various possibilities. For example, if you're getting 20 FPS it's a world of difference from 1 FPS, but either would still be a "Massive FPS drop" from 60. I would ask completely different questions for 20 fps than I would for 1 FPS. Also, the link for your config has expired or been removed, so I can't look at your config to make any suggestions regarding it.

If you use X-Fire software (basically a gaming IM client), there is a known performance issue with leaving its in-game features enabled when using Inner Space. If you are using that, then the answer to your problem is to shut off X-Fire or disable its in-game features.

If this happens with a SINGLE WINDOW launched with ISBoxer, then it's most likely either going to be X-Fire or other software (try shutting things down), or you may just need to update your video drivers (this is especially true on new PCs that have drivers installed from a CD or have otherwise not had new video drivers downloaded).

Also, DirectX11 will probably outperform DirectX9 on your hardware. See http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=774 for info on using dx11 with ISBoxer

I apologize for inaccurate description, I got slightly frustrated over this thing and didn't think as clearly I could have. Also my fault on Config part, I set it to expire in an hour because linked it to only Tornius in IRC.

I indeed do use X-Fire, and I didn't want to shut it down so tried to disable in-game features instead. I'm happy to inform you it fixed the FPS drops.

By FPS drops I basically mean this: I'm capped at 60 FPS no matter what I try to change, foreground FPS locked or unlocked still capped at 60 FPS.
Normally it stays at 60 FPS through whole login process.
With Inner Space enabled everytime I typed in something or moved cursor my active screen had FPS drops from 60 to even 20, and if I kept moving my cursor it would stay around 30-40 and utterly be too stuttering to play.

I'll take a look at DX11 next, thank you for your reply.
