    Default iMac Performance Question

Not strictly dual-boxing related, but I'm actually looking at picking up a new iMac next month, and I wanted some real-world feedback on their performance. I intend to throw boot-camp on it so if i want to multibox I can flip to windows and run ISBoxer/etc as normal, but I'm concerned mainly about single player performance with high graphics settings...

Anyone have one of these and can tell me how they run? Specifically I'm looking at the 27" model with the Core i5 or i7 CPU, 8GB ram, etc.

    Thanks,

sounds like it will run 5 just fine. I still don't understand why people would want a mac over windows/linux :P

I 5 box on a 5 year old Mac Pro. It gets about 30 fps on Ultra single player. The 27" is probably way better. Windows has more software options. Plexor is very basic.

Make sure to take the Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB RAM and you will be very happy, single and multi-boxing. If on top of that you can afford the one with an SSD drive, you will be very very happy.

@EatCarbs : 'cause they work and look awesome. Once you tried MacOS, there is no turning back.
