I would assume that they look at it from a much larger picture. The money that comes in from your typical player (single boxer, using one account) is probably much, much more than they get from players who mutlibox. If it was a case of catering to the almighty dollar, we would be screwed.

I just think that they don't have a problem with multiboxing. Period. If it ever does become an issue, they would ban it and take action against anyone trying to do it. But the number of multiboxers is small, and our impact on other players is tiny, and the number of people who whine on the forums is (I believe) microscopically small compared to the whole player base. There is no disruption on a scale that would lead Blizzard to decide that it is a problem.

In any case, the argument that "multiboxers pay more and Blizzard listens to the cash" is one of my favorites because it allowed me to turn the tables on a lot of the whiners. About a half-dozen times, I responded to it by pointing out that if it was true, then Blizzard essentially has no integrity, as they can be easily 'bought' and will cater to the deepest pocket even if it ruins the game. Then I would point out that by continuing their subscriptions, they were supporting Blizzard's decision to screw them over at the expense of those rich, basement-dwelling losers. And what does it say about a person that would pay monthly fee to get bent over and reamed like a cheap whore?

I didn't quite word it that way, but the idea was the same. I never got an answer to that question. Most people ignored it no matter how many times I restated it. Heh...
