Well, DKs aren't currently terribly hard to hit massive DPS numbers with. I could shoo my cats back and forth across my husband's keyboard and his DK would still manage twice as much DPS as most of my toons.

Now, as a former healer, no, I would not heal someone after I rez them. I'm gonna sit my as down and eat/drink, just like that newly rezzed person should do, since I just blew a wad of mana on rezzing and rebuffing. Nor am I going to sit around and wait for someone to run all the way back, especially since half the time people can't find their way back with a map, a Sherpa and a flare.

Where's Krushpak when you need him.

Someone needs to reply to http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/to...4817?page=5#89 as I have no EU toons.

Most players in BGs and PvP know this and that is why there are no multiboxing gladiators - and never will be.
Once I see a multiboxing gladiator team, I will start considering any arguments to possibly hold a valid point, but until then - it's only QQ based on hurt pride.
    and link him:

The last line in that OP was great:

I mean, please dont say Multiboxing is allowed... Jesus
I can just see the headline a few years from now: "MULTIBOXING LED ME TO JESUS"

Anyway, this stuff is still amusing to read, but I'm really glad that we spent that time a couple years back battling against the people trying to get it banned. Anti-boxers tried every possible excuse and attack and we rebuffed each and every one until Blizzard itself wound up making a definitive statement that it was not against the rules and that they had no issues with it. It is, as far as I am concerned, a settled issue. Blizzard may, at some future date, decide that they no longer want to allow multiboxing, but it will not be because of the arguments that the crybabies make. It will be because they changed their minds for some reason or other.

Until that day comes, I'll enjoy watching the crybabies do what they do best.

Edit to add: they even rolled out one of my favorites: "I really dont care what you say." That's right, Blizzard, this guy is the most important person in the whole world, and he says it's cheating! Well, that settles it, then.

I'm gonna take a comment from the developers of the game Aion.

Paraphrased: "...Yes, we recognize botting is present in the game. We also recognize some of these users with botting programs, do sell in game gold. We recognize some users maintain multiple accounts. However, the games world content is vast, and there are more monsters, than just the small crabs which characters fight over.... Our product is driven to entertain, and enjoy. Entire companies, have been produced, purchasing and maintaining hundreds of accounts. We appreciate every customer, and will continue to strive to make each and every customers experience enjoyable."

Blizzard is not much different. They produce, and sell this games time. Not actual content. One guy makes a statement that "I dont care what you say."... and Blizzard is supposed to be concerned? Std Business models have bell curves for a reason. There are always outside flyers. The company is to cater to the mass, not the rogue flyers... not to the one guy who has a hard on for (x) reason. Those kids, with their egos hurt and their sorrowful comments of woe, need to realize, if I can search my routers settings and see 4 computers connected to it, Blizzard can see the chineese with 70+ accounts on an IP frame...or they see me, with 5 accounts active at the same time.

applying this to multiboxing... Yes, they know. The software or hardware, is no different than me purchasing a wireless keyboard, and mouse, and syncing to 5 receivers. They know.

And when it comes right down to it... I own (5) accounts, I am a $75/month customer. The one guy with the QQ is a $15/month customer. If it was your business, and you were forced to make a decision, and upset one customer... who would you side with???

Yeah, but when it comes to whining, there are a LOT more people QQ'ing than there are multiboxing accounts, so if it were really about money only, we'd have all been banned years ago. Blizzard has the data to show that these QQ'ers are exactly that: QQ'ers for the sake of QQ. Because they think 5x1 should favor the 1. Basically, Blizzard calls the WAAAAAaaambulance every time these threads start up. Do these idiots think that no Blizzard employee has ever gone up against a multiboxer in Arenas/BGs?

Seriously, you just can't fix stupid.

lol i love the fact that the blizz posters stated it real plain and simple yet the scrub QQ'ers STILL get mad lol

"you're going up against 5 characters, not one, regardless of whether or not those 5 are controlled by 1 player or not"

lol dumb kids can be dumb, but we still get to roffle stomp the noobs ! hahahahaha

When was the average ever high? Wow has always been a simple game that specifically targeted the lowest common denominator.

I would assume that they look at it from a much larger picture. The money that comes in from your typical player (single boxer, using one account) is probably much, much more than they get from players who mutlibox. If it was a case of catering to the almighty dollar, we would be screwed.

I just think that they don't have a problem with multiboxing. Period. If it ever does become an issue, they would ban it and take action against anyone trying to do it. But the number of multiboxers is small, and our impact on other players is tiny, and the number of people who whine on the forums is (I believe) microscopically small compared to the whole player base. There is no disruption on a scale that would lead Blizzard to decide that it is a problem.

In any case, the argument that "multiboxers pay more and Blizzard listens to the cash" is one of my favorites because it allowed me to turn the tables on a lot of the whiners. About a half-dozen times, I responded to it by pointing out that if it was true, then Blizzard essentially has no integrity, as they can be easily 'bought' and will cater to the deepest pocket even if it ruins the game. Then I would point out that by continuing their subscriptions, they were supporting Blizzard's decision to screw them over at the expense of those rich, basement-dwelling losers. And what does it say about a person that would pay monthly fee to get bent over and reamed like a cheap whore?

I didn't quite word it that way, but the idea was the same. I never got an answer to that question. Most people ignored it no matter how many times I restated it. Heh...

To lots of people it looks like we're performing magic with our synchronized movements. They just do not get it or how it works.

Totalbiscuit brought up multiboxing in his last couple of Azeroth dailies. Glad someone as outspoken as him gets it and he pretty much tears people bitching about it a new one.
